First off, offering rewards to students in exchange for reviews on Facebook is desperate and pathetic to say the least.

The university lacks in features and could definitely benefit from certain imp...rovements, student engagement is almost none existent with the only focus being on churning out bookworms who are capable of reciting their syllabus through memorisation and not learning.

The highlights of Swinburne Sarawak have nothing to do with the University but merely its surroundings and the people that attend within.

So many reviews on here applying butter, jam and everything else in between, ask anyone for their honest opinion and you'll hear otherwise.

The focus is on money making, which is blatantly obvious because it seems to be that the lecturers in the campus seem to cherish the opportunity to fail a student, thankfully the same mindset does not carry on over in the Melbourne Campus.Tutors for most of the units are Masters/PHD students who are incapable of teaching.

There's a few discrepancies, but the professors are very positive and helpful and allow the students to explore, and provide encouragement and help for them to try new things.

Campus looked very vibrant yesterday, there was some sort of carnival at the old building, oddly the engineering block was really empty, seems like most people there have moved out, though some of the... doors were kind of wide open :P See More

It's a nice campus with a nice environment. You can see local students and foreign students study under the same roof. The lecturers are friendly and supportive to us. The admins and student admins very friendly. I love working here although I'm not a full-time staff here. Oh yeah... in case you are wondering, I'm working as an exam invigilators here. 6 years I've been working here and had fun working here. See ya all during the exam weeks!! See More
