Horrible experience with talk time. The day of my son's 3 yr check up the Dr recommended speech therapy. The office gave me their number and I literally called from the parking lot of the dr's office.... Who ever answered the phone was rude. The treated me as a number. They took my name and number and put me on a wait list. It is literally a year later and I have never received a call from them. Thank goodness for the private office I found. They treat their families with respect. And my son has been receiving services for a year now. See More

Wonderful staff! Everyone is very friendly and nice. My daughter's therapist works so well with her. She can't wait to go to speech. I saw a difference in just two weeks of going. I highly recommend t...his center! See More

Interesting article.

A new report shows a jump in prevalence of autism in the United States from 1 out of 68 children to 1 out of 45 but the CDC says part of the increase could be due to changes in the questionnaire.

Check out this great article about how Ronda Rousey, the "Baddest Woman on the Planet" thinks she had Apraxia as a child. It certainly never held her back!

When We Asked Ronda Rousey If She Had Apraxia of Speech Laura Smith Aug 05, 2015 Share on Facebook It started with an intriguing title — “Ronda Rousey: The World’s Most Dangerous Woman” — and then a picture of a “James Bond”-type beauty. Now, I normally wouldn’t click on stuff like this, but today I…

Music Therapy is in full swing at both offices! Here is a brief overview:

Music therapy can be a powerful tool to help children with physical or cognitive disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, speech delays, learning disabilities, ADD and many more. Music therapy provides multiple opportunities to retrain the brain and thereby adapt, rehabilitate or develop skills for improved thinking, moving, speaking and emo...tional well-being. Music therapy sessions are goal-oriented and designed specifically for the needs of your individual child. Sessions will typically consist of active engagement in music, including movement to music, rhythmic walking, playing instruments, and singing.

Exciting news! We have added 2 new therapists to the Cranberry office to cover more hours and days. Occupational Therapy is going great in both offices and we have lots of cool new equipment (the ball pits are particularly awesome). We also continue to accept adult patients on a case-by-case basis. Call, email, or stop by if we can be of service!

There are a lot of exciting things that have been happening over the last few months at both offices. We are now offering Occupational Therapy at both locations, and we have added 2 more therapy rooms to the Chippewa office. There are 3 new Speech Therapists in the Cranberry office to offer more hours as well. In the coming weeks, we will also begin to offer Music Therapy in both offices! It's fun to see all the new clients and watch them grow!
