Doesn't always report factual, pertinent stories and every time I click on the link to a story, some pop up comes up. I also never find any important stories that should be reported in this paper. The... actual paper is super thin and not worth the amount they charge. See More

They did an article with the family over our sons overdose and didnt get the facts right. Wouldnt call me back when i called him. He took bits and pieces of what we said and wrote what he wanted. I wa...s so upset. They wouldn't print a retraction. Its almost like they try to hurt the family by putting their business out there and then adding what they want to it. So sad for our family and any other grieving family. This is Donna on Kevins fb btw. See More

Helpful to hear about the events in the Riverbend area. Grateful they are available in print and online. Wish there was a little more robust coverage of "non-crime" news, but it seems there are lots o...f scary things that go on in the greater-Alton area. See More

If a person chooses to end their life , I don’t think writing about a person background or cases is the news for the day especially not the exact day he was found and everyone had to receive such news.... Very insensitive , you should know he has children like my friend stated who has to deal with this. A mother , father , friends etc who knows regardless of how you have painted him he was still valuable and loved . You have a paintbrush and choose to disrespect the dead and those who loved him. Very DISRESPECTFUL considering that information last shared won’t help with a single case. See More

This very sad and disrespectful...We are talking about someone's child.....father...friend...and family member..You are trying to label him as a bad person and don't even know him...I don't care what ...the courts say nor police..His family is in mourning why can't u all just let it go....Instead of posting his life story u should pay respects to his family like you all do the police officers and their families but I guess that's too much like right huh...I'm very disappointed... Every time I go to read a story on the tell a lie I get a pop up about half way they the story and have to exit out and restart the story. This is very annoying. It's about time to just wait for the s...tory to come out on another news source and read it there with no pop ups you sell outs. See More

Between the inconsistencies in some of the articles and the fact that it's impossible to read a complete story without being redirected to download a random app or to some rewards game its become too ...much of a chore to enjoy your site. See More

Be careful what you disagree with on their Facebook page, just a civil debate could get you blocked from commenting, messaging them, and liking any post that they share. I appreciate finally being un...blocked after 2 years though. See More

“judgement is a confession of your character;” you’ve shown in the past few months how judge mental , insensitive , & careless your publishing company is towards the community of Alton . we’d apprecia...te if you’d take your judgements & false claims elsewhere . See More

I usually go to the Editorial Page first. I have 2 favorite Guest or Contributing columnists and they are David Crowley and John Hopkins. Now I will add John and Andy Schlafly. I miss John Hopkins' co...lumns. I hope he will return sometime soon. See More

You guys do nothing but slander business' and lie to no end about your story's. Next time you wanna post a story about a business get the facts from both sides or stay the hell out of it. Tired of nothing but LIES coming out of your so called "newspaper". Think of the business' before you post the other persons side. Absolutely pathetic See More

After 6 a.m., no paper. I wish my family could break the habit of "needing" a newspaper in their hands. One single Sunday store ad is BIGGER than The Telegraph. Obviously most of the stories in thi...s tiny paper have already been somewhere on the internet days ago. But unfortunately not everyone can afford to be online either. Shame on you for stealing money from those who can't let go. It's not a "news"-paper at all. It should be free considering how few pages there are now. What is The Telegraph subscription for? Sunday coupons? That's not a deal either. And the Free newspapers we receive in the mail from other companies actually have news! See More
