We are pleased to announce that K9 “Ruger” and K9 “Ray” passed their International Police Work Dog Association 40 Acre Wilderness Search and Rescue Certificatio...n. The test consisted of them each having to successfully track and locate two persons within 2 hours in a 40 acre pasture. A special thanks to our certifying official from North Carolina and Travis Co Search and Rescue (TCSAR) for hosting!

3 year old Ryder Beaty was fishing with her family when she caught this 2.6 lbs White Bass from New Ballinger Reservoir, which broke the old lake record by nearly half a pound. Congratulations Ryder!

A new west Texas ShareLunker! This 13.4 lb largemouth bass was caught yesterday at Twin Buttes Reservoir near San Angelo.
This Red-shouldered Hawk is about to cast a pellet, regurgitating undigested food such as fur and teeth.

Here are scenes from a recent quail hunt at the Rolling Plains Quail Research Ranch northwest of Abilene. The ranch is dedicated solely to the research and restoration of wild quail.
