I hate the trolls that rip on the littlest of things.
I rarely get to read, but you guys do a solid job with what I hear is a very small staff.
Keep it up!

G'day from Australia! I used to live in Leavenworth in 1961 where I went to Sacred Heart School. It is good to read the Times page here. I wonder if there are any of my school mates still in town or h...ave contact with family there? Would love to find out. See More

Join us in raising money for a wonderful cause Saturday, April 20th 1-5pm at Sagasu Family Martial Arts 725 N 7th St Leavenworth, KS! Did you know that 1 out of every 88 children are diagnosed with Au...tism? Autism Speaks is a wonderful wonderful resource that helps research more and more ways to help children with autism every day, help with support, and help raise awareness! As a mother of a child with autism myself I frequently do things to help raise money and donate towards their wonderful program! I have been a huge activist for Autism since my son was diagnosed in 2007 from helping run support groups, autism walks, volunteering in the special needs classroom and ABA clinic. I wanted our next vending show to be one to raise money for a good cause and with April being autism awareness month a lot of us agreed back in Fall that this would be great! ~Laci Young

This Show will be donating 50% of profit will be donated to a Local Community - Special Needs Agency and to help raise funds for much needed services! They just built a new special needs playground on post last year and they run a wonderful special needs camp yearly which is in jeopardy of funds to keep going! This is open to all special needs children! They also offer things like free bowling for special needs children once a month.
50% of the profit will go to autism speaks to benefit more research and those all over the country!

Each vendor is donating a portion of their profit to Autism Speaks and there will be many vendors to choose lots of wonderful cash and carry items from or make orders with! We also have a lot of local companies coming out to show support too!
