Beautiful hotel and even though it’s a historic in nature the upkeep and service are wonderful.
The bathroom was amazing and updated and the room was clean. The entire place looked amazing. Even thoug...h we didn’t swim in the pool we did go into the area while touring the grounds on our own and it appeared to be kept up and being on the 23rd floor, it had an amazing view. Also on that floor was a bar with amazing views as well. The cafe breakfast in the morning was wonderful with more than filling portions.
Had an overnight getaway at the Pfister and it was a fantastic experience
. Helpful staff and a beautiful hotel. Blu lounge was amazing and my wife and I had a blast sipping drinks while taking in an... impressive view of the city.

Then an hour after that I received another call from Helga informing me that she had acquired a reservatio n for us and there was a written confirmati on slid under our door. Amazing service.

Another lovely stay at The Pfister. Excellent service to match the surroundin
gs. Didn't have a thing go wrong, but I will say the one visit where there was an issue, staff and management went above a...nd beyond to make things right. What I love about this place is that even though it's a historic gem, it never feels "dusty" or uncomforta ble, if you know what I mean. I've stayed at other historic places with rooms that shouldn't even be rooms, but it's done in the name of history. Not the Pfister. Always a class act!
I loved our stay. Everything
from check in to room service to the food and parking was all very easy. Such a beautiful place. I only wish I could stay longer or come here more often. The paintings are... an absolute treasure. I could stare at them for hours. And of course the entire hotel is simply breath-tak ing.
My friend and I took advantage of the best friend getaway package. Our room was nice however the constant street sound made for a sleepless night. We were able to check in early which was wonderful!... Part of our package was credits to Blu. However Blu was so crowded we couldn't get a drink. Everyone was very friendly. I do recommend the Sunday brunch. The options were wonderful and the staff members were attentive.
We checked in and were informed that we got upgraded because the room reserved for us could not be occupied for that date. Our upgrade was a room we never could have afforded in a million years, a ro...om presidents
had stayed in. Our children will remember the Pfister for the rest of their lives.
The whirlpool tub was dirty could not use and never received my fruit and Champagne paid 318.00 for one night to have nothing but a king size bed when I tried to speck to a manager I just go a run aro...und and nothing was done they never even tried to call me back what kind of customer service is that. when checking of out I told the gentleman of the problem and he said ok what else can I do. I laughed at him and said maybe find your manager so I can speak to him he said she is not available.
So my wedding will Not happen her my 250 guest should not ever visit this place.
My wife and I spent last Friday there as an early Valentine'
s Day celebratio n! The room was wonderful and had a great view! The service is always such an exceptiona l experience too! If you have a few ...extra bucks, the hors d'oeuvres at the Club Lounge were really tasty and offered a nice atmosphere as you looked at the city and lake (and Blu Bar and Lounge almost has an even better atmosphere and view!)! Loved it! And my wife and I both loved the history of the place! Got a night or two and a few bucks, definitely worth a stay!

Was at The Pfister Hotel for a wedding and it was beautiful!
That said, most of our interactio ns with staff (with the exception of the food service staff which were amazing) left much to be desired a...s staff gave the impression that people were an imposition .

Best Sunday Brunch in SE Wisconsin.
Top quality food and service, consistent for the past 35 years that I've gone there. Our "go to" place for special events and quality drinks and dining experience s.
My boyfriend and I reserved a room as part of a night out in downtown Milwaukee.
After checking in and being in our room for a total of ten minutes a security guard came to knock on our door and told... us that there was a noise complaint! There is no way that could be possible.. .we felt as though they discrimina ted against us due to our significan t age difference . At a later date, I was carded at Blu (I'm 39!) which almost ruined our night for I had not moved my ID to my purse for that evening. Luckily I had a picture of my passport on my phone. I have been there multiple times before with friends and have never been carded. I feel as though my boyfriend and I were profiled in both instances. We will stick to Iron Horse, The Kimpton, and the like where we are always welcomed as guests.
Always a regular and work on many events there. Not happy with the new parking system 6.00 for just 14 mins to pick up product. So
metimes when doing an event we have 3 cars making it in and out 5 times....
Staff is wonderful hotel is beautiful

We went to the Pfister to have our tin type done be the amazing artist Margaret Muza, it was excellent!
While waiting for our tin type we decided to go have lunch, lunch was excellent too! It was an e...njoyable afternoon at a beautiful hotel! I would highly recommend both Margaret Muza (artist in residence) and their lunch! Excellent bloody Mary too!
It saddens me to write this review because I’ve always loved the Pfister. I took my mother, sister and nieces to the Alice and Wonderland
tea party last weekend for $160. It was so disappoint ing. When... I asked if our table could have water after like a half hour, the server said “we’re getting there, go sit down little girl.” Then when our water did come, I noticed gunk stuck to the inside of the water glass (I have a photo) and unfortunat ely I didn’t notice until after I had already drank most of it. The service was terrible- the event started at 10 am and we weren’t served anything until past 11 am. I actually ran to the coffee shop to get my nieces cookies because they hadn’t had breakfast. The “activity stations” were one backdrop to take photos in front of and the movie playing in the back of the room on the lowest volume. Lastly and most disappoint ing was the fact that they didn’t even have any of the characters there. Not even Alice! Just cardboard cutouts. All of these little girls and no Alice. My niece even drew a picture to give to her and nothing. All of the children looked disappoint ed and restless. My niece kept asking when we could leave. I can’t recommend these events. It wasn’t close to the quality that the Pfister had previously been known for - just unfortunat e.
We had a wonderful experience
at The Pfister. While we only stayed one night everything was perfect! The room was very spacious and very nicely decorated! What a big beautiful hotel in the middle of... everything ! Highly suggest this hotel! We will be back!
Our stay at The Pfister was excellent.
Every interactio n or request was easy and resolved effectivel y. We were upgraded to a suite which was very spacious. The room service was quick and delicious.... Our floor stuerad even texted us asking how things were going. Everyone from the vallet, front desk, and housekeepi ng were amazing. Thanks for a great weekend in Milwaukee!
