Check out Glorietta's feature on NPR's "All Songs Considered" list for their track "Heatstroke"!

"A drunken hot tub session, a random assortment of musicians, and several handles of tequila spawned "Glorietta," the rambuctious crew that consists of Matthew Logan Vasquez, Noah Gundersen, Kelsey Wilson, David Ramirez, Jason Robert Blum, and Adrian Quesada, and whose first official gig is the Newport Folk Festival. "Heatstroke" has the bumpy, sing-a-long fun of "Sweet Home Alabama." Glorietta's music is every bit as rowdy and energetic as the get-together that unified them."

If you want your rock close up and personal, don’t hesitate...go to The Troubadour. The sound levels can be deafening, and the main floor isnt for short people, but this place is the real deal. The drums, the pianos, and the stratocasters sound clear and sharp, and in The Troub they get into your soul. This place is how rock sounds to the musicians and I love it to death. Afficher la suite

My experience here was memorable. The sound here is one of the best in Los Angeles, and the vibe is often always top notch. You’re guaranteed to meet someone worth knowing.

I've been going to shows and playing at the Troub since about 83~ I've seen GnR there, Kiss there, The Foo's there~ far too many to mention or try to remember.
As the singer in Big Bang Babies memories of the Troub for me are amazing. As I stood in there last night I flashed back to those crazy days of glamorous debauchery and singing in Cowpunk band Custom Made Scare left me with fond memories as well but nothing like the 80's into the 90's. I was reminded last night of what an extraordinary and legendary club it truly is~ I must return with my new band and play that stage again. Maybe in Feb when my new album releases.
Cheers to the Troub and the outstanding team over there!

One of the best small venues for live music in all of Los Angeles. Big Head Todd and the Monsters killed it last night. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen.

I went to this venue on 3/23/2017 for a show I was super excited to see for the first time. I was in line getting my tix scanned when the door person told me that the Troubadour doesn't allow its patrons to chew gum inside the venue and to please dispose of it. I was like alright. I was asked to show what was in my bag like most venues do, so I complied, then the door person stuck his hand in my bag and took out my pack of gum and threw it away. Um NO!!!!! No one has the right to just go in my bag and take things out. He could have asked and I would have given it to him. I asked what was the reason for this, my request went unanswered. We were then ushered inside the venue and guess what, there were others inside who were chewing gum. (I have pictures) I still ask why was my bag searched and then items removed without my consent when clearly this is not the norm. I don't think I will be paying to see another show at this venue. The band I saw was amazing but the way I was treated was horrible. I will tell this horrible story to everyone I talk with about the Troubadour. Afficher la suite

The bartenders at the Troubadour are excellent. A great place to enjoy seeing your favorite singers performing on stage in a intimate setting.

This was my very first visit to The Troubadour, which is odd because I've grown up in San Diego. This is an amazing venue with so much history. The acoustics were just perfect. The staff and bar tenders were helpful and friendly, too. I'm just so happy that I had the privilege of seeing Reeve Carney and O'Neill Hudson perform. What's even more special is that this was a Carney family affair: Zane Carney joined his sister on stage for a rendition of "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis, and Zane then joined Reeve for an extended version of "Testify" that was mind blowing. Reeve's, Paris', and Zane's parents were there to celebrate their awesomely talented children. This is a memory I'll never forget. Afficher la suite

I asked the Security guy in front where there was parking and he guided us to the back alley and let us park in a private spot.(I guess he felt my birthday vibes). Then while we were in line he came and pulled us out and guided us to the front of the line, gave us bracelets and seated us in the reserved balcony section. Front row seating. WHAT???!!! The sound quality is excellent, I went two nights in a row and stood right next to the stage and experienced no hearing problems at all. Plus there's a bar inside so you can hang for a few minutes after the show ends instead of getting the boot. Afficher la suite

John Waite never disappoints. He's witty, has a great voice, and his band was spot on, especially the drummer.

This is my favorite concert venue. The grill is great and the bartenders are awesome. I've been coming here from Bakersfield for years to see shows. I even will drive down midweek to see bands I ❤️!

I went to a Raleigh Ritchie show 5/8/17. It was my first time there and the staff was very nice in helping me out with my questions. The venue is small but it made the experience more intimate. And the show was amazing!!! Afficher la suite

Great small venue. Not really any bad views, but balcony is the best and there are benches there. Floor is standing room only. Drinks are not too expensive ($9-13) and they have greasy spoon type food

What a great classic venue to see an artist! The bartender up front was super friendly and gave me an overview of the venue and history while I was there. The door personnel however leave a lot to be desired. Very surly and pretty sure they were stoned. Afficher la suite
