We have a son, Nicholas who has autism. Our younger son, Benjamin(who was 7 yrd old, then) refuses to see a Broadway show without his older brother. Since they did a lot of things together. No matter we explain it, he doesn’t understand. We thank TDF for doingThe Lion King’s Autism Friendly performance several years ago. We all loved it. It was an amazing experience just being in a place where everyone just understands. We were all relaxed and truly enjoyed the show. Thank you for making that dream come true for our family... we are going again for Aladdin this year, unfortunately I was working the day the tickets went on sale & by the time I logged in, all good seats were all sold out. I was fortunate enough to get 2 seats in the middle of mezzanine. Benjamin was disappointed but knew that his older brother comes first in our family, so he said he’ll just meet us for an eatly dinner after the show.. thank you very much for what you do for the autism community. You have no idea how much it means to us. See More

TDF's new initiative for military veterans is awesome!! My friend (who is an Air Force vet) is accompanying me to a performance of Miss Saigon this afternoon, and since I am a military spouse (my husb...and is a combat veteran of the USMC) this is an especially awesome opportunity - thanks for the complimentary tickets TDF and thanks for giving back to the awesome men and women who have served and are continuing to serve our country 🇺🇸 See More

TDF give us the opportunity to go to concerts and plays and also encourage us to do things with family and friends. This is also a way to enjoy the cultural life in NYC at a low cost. A good way to s...upport TDF is to donate and thank you for making it accessible to everyone. See More

We found out about TDF and the Autism Initiative that they have and find them to be simply amazing! We have gone to one show so far with my son and his best friend who are both on the Spectrum and ar...e going to our second show next weekend. As soon as we walked up and saw the staff handing out fidgets before we even entered the theater we knew that they "got it", that they understood. Thank you for making theater accessible to everyone!! See More

If it wasn't for TDF, I would never had gotten the experience of going to multiple theatre productions. I am now a TDF member who loved to bring along friends and family to enjoy the Broadway, Off Bro...adway, and Off Off Broadway shows! Thank you TDF! See More

We went to the sensory-friendly performance of Lion King yesterday. I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing this. All the volunteers were so friendly and helpful. The quiet areas were perfect.... The squishy toys were so useful. There is no way we would've been able to attend (and sit quietly) and afford a regular performance. It really was such an amazing gift to be at that show with all those families. It felt like magic, but I know it was really a lot of hard work from a lot of very dedicated people. Thank you TDF, the ATI, all the sponsors, and all the volunteers for making it happen. See More

I have seen 2 Broadway shows (Holiday Inn, The Encounter) already and have tix for 2 upcoming shows, an off off Broadway show (Little Woman)and a ballet (Cinderella). Nice selection, great prices ($9-...$47 per show, $4 fee per order), good seats and ordering online is easy with tickets waiting at will call 1/2 hr before the show.
The reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars is that you need to reserve at least a day in advance, and Broadway shows are usually only available a week or two in advanced.

Went to our first tdf performance yesterday and it was AMAZING! I always had a feeling that my son would love to see a musical, given the right setting. And he was absolutely mesmerized. It meant so m...uch to have this experience as a whole family. So often we have to split up because my son can't do the things my daughter wants to do. Affordable ticket prices and being in a judgment free environment were key! They handed out fidgets and had break rooms with bean bag chairs and mats, etc. Thank you so much for what you do!! See More

We are so grateful to tdf and their Autism Theater Initiative! We have now been able to see 6 different Broadway shows as a family (Wicked, Lion King, Matilda, The King & I, Aladdin, and Kinky Boots)..., in a theater full of acceptance and understanding. The volunteers are always so kind and each experience has been amazing. Thank you!! See More

TDF is one of the best resources out there for special-needs families. TDF allows me to do things with my son that I may not of been able to do otherwise!

TDF has opened a window for our family. Special performances for individuals with Autism and their families have allowed us to enjoy a very special time and opened a venue otherwise very difficult to... enjoy with our son. Thank you ! See More

What a wonderful service for those of us who love theater in NYC, but cannot afford Broadway prices. The range of offerings are superb, with theater, concerts, dance, off-Broadway, etc.
It is so nice be able to participate in the vibrant cultural life of NYC with assistance from TDF! See More

Shout out to Jane. We were having troubles signing up for a membership online and she went through the time and trouble to manually set us up and her end and to follow up in under an hour! Go Jane!

I am very disappointed. Was on the TKTS site and saw that TDF tickets were available for a particular show. Paid the $$ to join TDF but when I searched no tickets were available for that show AT ALL. ...Feel like I was totally scammed. See More
