Visa requirements were one of the most requested features on The Basetrip. And the one we struggle(d) the most with due to its complexity and size. We did an upgrade to make it even more simple & easy to keep up with visa requirements for any country in the world 🌍

We have started our translation efforts to make The Basetrip travel information available globally. We are starting with 🇫🇷 French language which will be available soon, but we already did the preparation with 🇭🇷 Croatian language which is now available 🎉

This is what drives us forward! Thanks for all the support 🤗

The API was one of the most requested business features since the launch last year. We got requests from airline companies, travel agencies, travel retailers, accommodation providers and even banks. 'Electricity' card became 'Sockets & plugs', now with compatibility information for both adapter (different sockets/plugs) & transformer (different voltage) 🙂

We added more details to our 'Credit & debit cards' page such as differentiation between magnetic and chip (EMV) cards and between 'Chip & PIN' and 'Chip & signature' which often confuses 🇺🇸 travelers travelling to 🇪🇺
