Many years ago I set out to create a coffee table 'art' book encapsulating the original Blues Brothers saga.
unfortunately, Licensing, Universal's permissions, copyrights, etc.made it an almost impossible dream.
Rather than have the images sit in the Cloud till who knows when, I will change the Cover photo in sequence every couple of days. Bear with me as it is still work in progress...
Rob kicks it in any genre!
PEG - Steely Dan
Usually I decide whether to play a song on either Chromatic or Diatonic harmonica. But this is one of those rare tunes that begs for a more Bl...uesy Rockin' Solo... so I make the switch at the Solo,-) On the Solo I'm using my new new Big River C with Tom Halchak's Blue Moon Comb which really sings! Mic wise this is my Greg Heumann Blowsmeway Ultimate Shure 58 and here is where the Volume control really comes in handy as the blues harp is much louder than the Chromatic....The Chromatic is a stock 270 in C. On the backing track I'm playing Bass Harmonica and the Horn Lines on a Hohner 2016 Chromatic and another track of just some Rhythm 'Comping' on Diatonic.
Reminiscing of his spiritual brother... 😞
