Time to start changing those “Interested” into “Going”. We’re playing the whole Goody Goody album and a whole bunch more super cool tunes including a rare song that hasn’t been played since the 90’s.
Here's the poster Dougy made for our GOODY GOODY release show at the Crest...with Oleander, the Decibels and Simon Says. We sold out the Crest and had a very cool time!! Were you there?
Come see us play THE ENTIRE ALBUM at Old Ironsides on March 16 with the Swell Punks. It's been 20 years...will we remember the words?
Although released in 1998, Goody Goody was recorded in 1997 at Soundfarm Studio in Vacaville...it was our second disc there with Doug Chancellor at the helm...many of you know that “Beer Truck Driver” actually got its start with Tony many years prior to it being released by the Brody boys on this disc (Tony’s original take on it appears on the disc at the end...a “hidden track”...)...BTD almost made it onto our first disc but we opted to forgo until Goody...”Don’t Go” is actually one of the first tunes the boys tossed around in 1994/1995 as we were figuring out our sound, and like BTD, it’s arrival came a couple years later on Goody...there’s your completely unsolicited history lesson for the day! Looking forward to seeing you all on 3/16 at Old I!🤘🏼
At Old Ironsides on Friday, March 16th, we will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the release of Goody Goody by playing the whole album in its entirety. We’ll finish the night off with a few more classics and a lot more beers.
We’re still making the set list for the second half of the show, so what songs do you want to hear?
