'Missing Long county woman found safe.

Long county Sheriff's Office Detective, Tom Sollosi announced today that Kimberly Bree-Anne Hall, 18, of Ludowici has been located in Bacon county and is safe. Hall was reported missing November 16th by her stepmother when she left her residence in a vehicle and never returned home. The Long county Sheriff's Office would like to thank the public for their assistance on locating Hall.'

The money will be used to stock the local food pantry and was one of several donations made to charities by the St. Simon’s Island-based Georgia Theater Company with its annual Cinema for a Cause event. The company donated 100 percent of the money it made from Oct. 16 ticket purchases made at its 24 locations to 36 local charities. Variety of Georgia also received a donation from Liberty Cinemas.

The coverage given to the girls from Bradwell regarding their selection as tops in their graduating class was simply appalling. As the hometown newspaper you sh...ould provide equal coverage to both schools. Your coverage simply stunk. This newspaper needs to make it right for those two girls. The girls from BI worked just as hard as the students from the other schools but your coverage made it look like they were an afterthought . See More

The story on the voting for all EXCEPT Robert Brooks needs an addition put in it. I feel the paper is being biased by NOT adding his name in there as HE IS in the running as well. I know myself and others will be posting to your paper in the days to come!! Denise Nunnally

Midway city council voted Monday at a called meeting to suspend Police Chief Kelli Morningstar for three days without pay for insubordination.

"On Nov. 15, an officer was sent to Lyman Hall Elementary School at 8 a.m. because 'a parent who appeared to be intoxicated, attempting to pick up a child.'"
