Today marks the 22nd anniversary of the discovery of the electric bass guitar. On this day in 1995, a pod named Pod arrived on this planet wielding a strangely deformed guitar-type instrument, called a "bass". On December 22, 1995, a day after his arrival, he built the Epi Gibby Factory and produced the most incredible "bass" known to man - The Epi Gibby Embassy PRO. On Christmas 1995, he used his bass powers to write a song called "Smooth", and then in 1999, employed Santana (feat. Rob Thomas) to bring his creation to the people. This skyrocketed him to fame and fortune, which was exhausting for him. Here is a photo of him in the immediate aftermath: (Happy Birthday Pod ❤️)
