This Literacy Awareness Week, we taught children at Linawo how to use an encyclopedia. The children each received a volume of Childcraft Encyclopedia and were asked to tell us an interesting fact from the book. Some books are so familiar that reading them is like being a child again. Emseni Child & Youth Care Centre was established in 1984 for children and youth who are infected with HIV/AIDS, abused, abandoned, neglected and/or orphaned and The EssBee Foundation is proud to say that we host regular events and drives in aid of the some 36 children who live here. Last week we held a successful textbook drive as the first project for this home of 2018 and we can’t wait to see what this year has in store for all of us! 📚♥️📚♥️
