Great work by Hayling Ferry & Hayling Island activist Mark Coates in setting up this essential meeting.
A clear action plan has emerged that looks to secure ...the future of the Hayling Ferry after its successful 18 months run since the service returned in Aug 2016.
Colin Hill and the Ferry team have made an incredible effort during that time to make a success of the vital connection between Portsmouth and Hayling Island - the only alternative to the congested A3023 Langstone bridge.

Since the ferry launched a couple of weeks ago it has been really busy at The Hayling Ferry Trust. We are delighted to let you know that on the eve of the launch we received a big boost to the project from our wonderful friends at Southern Cooperative & Cooperative Funeral Care. They donated £1000 to The Hayling Ferry Trust! We really feel that this demonstrates their commitment to working in our communities. There is still work to do but this will really help!
