We went on Thursday for my daughter's school field trip we were suppose to be the only school there however there were two other small private schools. That was frustrating. Also the big heart was tal...ked about and was so hyped up about when it has a heart attack well that was dissappointing the lights just flashed it was not as exciting as I thought. I think it could use some improvement. Also as we were leaving there was a real live bat that was flying in there which creeped out the 8 classes of students we had with us. I really wantef to go back but I will say the bat was sort of creepy too. See More

This was such a waste of time and money. I was stoked to go to the music/brain exhibit and 3/4 of it didn’t work. The exhibit has only been open for a couple of weeks??? Honestly just don’t even bothe...r making the trip here. See More

A smaller museum that would be a great supplement to lessons on the body. Their gift shop is full of tons of fun educational items, book, and gifts. The trip over to see that alone is worth it.

It was okay. Hearing exhibit was closed off. Took a look at the reproductive system and so much dust. The info on the heart was good, the life sized brain was cool and the eye. Brain teasers were fun.... I think that there should have been more for the price of $10 for adults. See More

We did not enjoy our time here because majority of the “exhibits” were out for repair, even though we were charged full price. It was also not as child friendly as we had hoped.

Was bummed that some of the things didn’t work and i did expect there to be more to do than what was there. But it as a nice experience, it definitely intrigued the Kids minds. They also had a drummin...g session that was super fun. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The kids sure enjoyed it. See More

The museum is very small. A part from the lady who takes care of the movie sections, who is extremely professional and kind to the kids.... the DNA lab lady is a horrible host, mean to the little kids..., with zero patience and clearly unhappy to be working there. She told us "come back when they're older (our kids are 7yrs old)!" - and my reply to her was "I doubt it". I love all houston museums. Not this one, unfortunately. See More

We went here for the homeschool dissection labs. They were very informative and afforded my son the opportunity to do something he typically would not have been able to do at this grade level.

This museum was horrible. Took 40 minutes to see the entire thing. This was with reading everything. Just to explain how small and lacking in exhibits this "museum" is. I am completely at a loss as t...o how so many people gave this 5 star reviews. Did they actually go to this musuem? Online it was really well advertised on its website as having a 4D theater and health exhibits and the body world's exhibit. So we went to see it. The body world's exhibit was small but OK. The rest of the permanent exhibits were all so old and broken and the "4D theater" was a weird room with broken chairs where they played a old DVD from a laptop. It was the weirdest museum experience of my life and I have been to a ton of museums including almost every museum in Houston. This place was a sad excuse for a museum. I am bummed because I was expecting better. See More

I don't think it was worth what we paid at all. After 45 mins we were done with everything. Most exhibits have at least one feature that doesn't work, some are completely useless and the ones that do show terrible signs of wear. I thought about asking for a refund but the lackluster employee that sold me the tickets didn't seem like a customer service oriented person. It could be so much better. See More

It was ok needs to have more things for the little ones so they can reach such as the smells so nobody has to pick them up. And alot better illustrations for the 10 to 15 year olds. The staff was nice... and helpful. I would visit again. See More

I really enjoyed the museum. Yes, I did find it upsetting that some of the displays didn't work but it was still really exciting to see.

I went yesterday and it was underwhelming. The museum didn't have much to see or do. The museum website did a great job of exciting me, but the exhibits were less than impressive (and some parts did n...ot appear to be in working order). It was not worth the 45 minute drive, $10 per person admission, and the parking.

The best part was the Cell Lab, but that exhibit cost us extra.

The museum wasn't what I expected at all. It doesn't have much for kids. The lab was very nice and the Pump Heart was something my son really enjoyed. Other than that, it went very quickly. I'm in med...ical school, so I kinda made it fun with my son pointing to a bone and I name it for him. He was thrill to see I new the bones. Please don't take my word, you must experience it for yourself. See More

Targets school aged kids rather than adults. Small. Exhibits were very basic and several not functioning properly. Not impressed.

This the second time I have used Health Museum and I am really disappointed in merit badge program and employee's at museum. Poorly run program and seems to be a merit badge mill. I guess I found out ...why they discourage parents from attending. There is little to no discussion during program and consulers today seemed lost till they asked me nicely to leave because adults in class keep kids from answering. See More

While the new exhibit regarding skin color is worthwhile, we were sadly disappointed to find it had replaced the interactive area where a teen or child can get a guesstimate on their adult height, you...r approximate lifespan based on health habits, how many people that have visited the museum match your profile, a computer that ages you by a generation and more. Houston needs to come up with a multi pass to its many museums instead of charging a hefty fee just to join one. It wasn't worth the 90 dollars with parking for two cars, a senior and 6 adults. We went because the other museums were packed. I wouldn't pay to go again. Thursday afternoons are free though, minus parking. Plus their movie theatre, which is part of the admission charge was not playing anything. Two and a half stars. See More

Took the family yesterday-kids are 15,13 and 2. All enjoyed!! The labs were more fun than the teens expected. Everyone enjoyed the interative area and the brain teasers were awesome!! We spent nearly ...six hours there and found something to do the entire time. Body Worlds RX was exceptional. My medical profession husband geeked out on that, and even though I get grossed out easily, I found this a pretty cool way to explore the inside of a body--visually. See More
