The staff and customers went above and beyond. The disabled toilet door was locked and the key had vanished. Thank you to all the staff for breaking into the disabled toilet too help me out.

2 younger women waitresses perfectly lovely but the older one in the black shirt, didn't smile, (the whole time we were there). When she arrived with the food, shouted at us in order to establish who... had ordered what (Pardon us customers for ordering something different and for making so much trouble for you the restaurant!) She then slammed the plates on the table. We were otherwise having a nice time together enjoying ourselves but obviously that wasn't acceptable. Silly us eh? Hope they fire her soon so we can go back as everything-else is fine & location convenient. She would seem to need a career change as the last industry she should be in is the hospitality industry. She might do better in the prison service! See More

We did have to wait a while for our food but given the order it was expected plus we drank good wine while we waited..so worth the wait the food was amazing can't wait to go back!!!!

Popped in last night with some good friends and had a great supper. Can recommend the 'Fiveways' pizza and the burger was cooked to perfection with chips as good as mine.
The service was helpful and ...attentive but not intrusive and the place had a very relaxed feel.
We can't wait to go back for the Jazz.
I would recommend The Hop & Vine for every day of the week as an alternative to town. Great place definitely 5* .

Had a great roast at The Hop. Great friendly service and an amazing roast with beef from Barfields Butchers; perfectly cooked veg and lashings of gravy. Very reasonable prices too.

January blues? Come and join us to relax and clear them away.
The Hop & Vine @ 300, an independent, family run business, is a place for all from a quiet afternoon coffee to a lively Friday evening pizza and beer.
Our aim is to provide somewhere for mums, dads, friends, relatives, local community groups to come and relax and feel welcome.
We serve freshly cooked food, coffees, teas, craft beers, locally sourced wines.
We do a traditional roast on Sundays alongside our pizzas.... A kids menu is available Monday to Sunday with kids eating for free on Sundays (t&cs apply)..
We have space for groups including an upstairs room which can seat groups of up to 26 people.
You're welcome to come in just for a coffee, a full three course meal or just cocktails if that takes your fancy.
There's plenty of colouring for kids and we have high chairs and a baby change area.
January is a time of sales and offers but we have plenty of deals available all year round.

Competition time!
For a chance to win a nest box post the name of a bird that you have seen your garden that has not been posted already. ie. If someone has alr...eady posted flamingo you cannot post flamingo. Let's see how many different birds we can get. No cheating!! 😁😁
One winner will be drawn at random on Friday the 4th of May.
The winner will need to be able to collect the nest box from the shop.
Good luck!!
