Two years ago, we seemed to have one last chance to rescue my trafficked friend M, who was being kept captive in China and faced the very real danger of being resold to a brothel - the full story is here: http://www.humanearth.net/…/ms-dilemma-v-a-golden-opportun…/

Two years ago, the stakes were raised on the attempted rescue of my trafficked friend, and I became more deeply entangled than I'd ever expected to be: http://www.humanearth.net/…/ms-dilemma-iii-mountains-beyon…/
Two years ago, the incredible success of finding my trafficked friend in China forced us both to make some very difficult decisions - check out the full story here: http://humanearth.net/…/11/11/ms-dilemma-ii-nowhere-to-turn/
Two years ago, I was finally able to share one of the most powerful and personally difficult chapters of our story: the attempted rescue of my friend M, who had been kidnapped, trafficked and sold as a teenage bride in China. You can find the story here: http://humanearth.net/blog/2014/11/06/ms-dilemma/
It's been a long, crazy, successful couple of months for 'The Human, Earth Project'. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has made it possible. See the full story here: http://humanearth.net/blog/2016/11/07/coming-through/
Our fundraising campaign to finish 'Sisters For Sale' and fight human trafficking ends in EIGHT HOURS - if you've been meaning to get onboard and you haven't yet, now's the time!
It's right here: http://www.sistersforsale.com
After years of struggling to get this project the attention and funding it needs, the outpouring of support we've received this week has been overwhelming. It has really proven the power this story has to touch people's hearts and make a real difference against human trafficking. THANK YOU to everyone who's been a part of it - and if you haven't yet, this weekend is your last chance to get a special sneak peek at 'Sisters For Sale'! Check it out: http://www.sistersforsale.com/
Two years ago today: while working to help reconstruct the life of my friend and human trafficking survivor P, she became targeted by an aggressive young Hmong man calling himself 'Lucky Charm', who was anything but, and openly threatened to abduct her a second time. Just when it all started sounding like a bad soap opera, life took a surprise comedic turn. It's so strange to look back at all this now, and remember the way it all played out: http://www.humanearth.net/…/2…/11/04/when-roosters-lay-eggs/
If you haven't yet seen our documentary, or supported our fundraising campaign, there are now only THREE DAYS remaining: http://www.sistersforsale.com/
We've just reached our goal, four days early... A HUGE THANK-YOU to everyone who made this possible, you've been phenomenal. You can still watch the 40min version of the documentary - and contribute - until this weekend. The extra funds we raise will be dedicated 100% to fighting human trafficking - specifically, more funds to promote the film and translate it into as many languages as possible - the more people we reach, the bigger impact we can make in raising awareness of vulnerable girls.
Yesterday, I shared my story to Imgur and the response was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL.
The Imgur community came out in full support of my work: the post went straight to the top of the front page, spent the whole day in the #1 position, was awarded Post of the Day, and went on to become Imgur's #42 most popular post of ALL TIME.
Without my even realising it, others shared the story to Reddit, and we hit the front page there, too! In the past 30 hours, Imgurians and Redditers hav...e given over $15,000 to my work against human trafficking, and the contributions are still coming in. The total now stands at $51,342, or 92% of our fundraising target!
Here's the post I shared on Imgur: http://imgur.com/gallery/Hvnvb
In 30 minutes (3pm EST) I'll be following up with an AMA ('Ask Me Anything') session here on Reddit - feel free to come along and ask anything about my work!: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/
If you haven't yet seen the film, there are now only five days before it's taken down - and if you haven't yet contributed to our campaign, now is the time!
This is where it's happening: http://www.sistersforsale.com
THANKS!

Two years ago today, my trafficked friend P had finally come home to her family in Vietnam - only to face the very real threat of being abducted a second time, by an aggressive little man calling himself 'Lucky Charm', and I found myself caught in the middle... I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried: http://www.humanearth.net/blog/2014/11/02/beyond-all-limits/
1,372 people have now given $47,420 to help us finish 'Sisters For Sale' and fight a human trafficking crisis. If you're not one of them, there are only 5 days left to get a special sneak peek at the documentary and make a real difference in the lives of thousands of vulnerable young women. Every little bit makes a difference: http://www.sistersforsale.com/
A HUGE THANK-YOU to the 1,250 people who have now supported our work to protect vulnerable young women against the very real horrors of human trafficking. We've now raised over $43,000, or 77% of our goal. If you haven't yet contributed, please take a moment to understand why this work is so important: http://www.sistersforsale.com
THANK YOU!!
