This month we celebrate the earth and next month we celebrate moms. Now we are combining the two for a super fun earth friendly project to give the grandma’s on Mother’s Day! Have you ever noticed that the Stonyfield® Organic Kids® yogurt multipack containers are the perfect size to plant seeds? This yogurt gets eaten so fast at our house we had lots of containers to work with! First, the kids decorated the containers with washi tape or painted them with chalkboard paint.... The chalkboard paint is great because the kids could write messages or draw doodles for their grandmas. After the containers looked adorable, the kids filled them with potting soil and then planted some favorite seeds like lavender and black-eyed Susan’s. The seeds were watered and will have the next few weeks to grow to be given as gifts for Mother’s Day!

There are a lot of reasons our family loves Stonyfield® Organic Kids®. First, it tastes great. Which, when you’re dealing with kids is always important. They are friendly to the earth. The cups from this pack are made from plants so they have a much lower carbon footprint. Also, this organic yogurt is Non GMO Project Verified with no high fructose corn syrup and 25-40% less sugar than the leading kids yogurt. It’s better for the planet and for us! We are partial to the strawberry and peach yogurt but you can find all of the Stonyfield® Organic Kids® products on their website AD https://www.stonyfield.com/products/baby-kids
