If I wrote a note to God
I would speak whats in my soul
I'd ask for all the hate to be swept away,
For love to overflow

...

If I wrote a note to God
I'd pour my heart out on each page
I'd ask for war to end
For peace to mend this world

I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you

Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong on this road we're on

If I wrote a note to God
I would say what's on my mind
I'd ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world

If I wrote a note to God
I'd say please help us find our way
End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts

And I'd say, I'd say, I'd say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven't got a clue
Need some help from you

Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we're on

We can't do this on our own

Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, it is with a humbled heart that we come together to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the beauty o...f the butterfly as it emerges from the cocoon. We thank you for the hummingbird as it hovers around the flower while collecting the nectar. We thank you for the fruits from the trees that nourish us. We thank you for the many herbs that you provide to give us the cures we need for our aging bodies. For the majestic mountains that overlook the forests and valleys below, we thank you. We thank you for the many species of life, from the bear to the fish, that you have placed upon the Earth. We thank you for the sacred spirit you have given to all living things that will help guide and teach us in our daily lives.

We ask for miraculous healing to be granted to those suffering through diverse diseases, disorders and ailments. We ask for forgiveness when we stray from our paths and transgress against your commandments. We ask for a time where we spend more time in spirit rather than focusing our attention solely upon worldly things. There is so much violence and destruction that surrounds us and we ask for a time of peace and tranquility, where we can begin to understand those things that concern us. We ask for an end to the chains that bind and control us, preventing us from doing that which is just and righteous. We ask for an end to our addictions that keeps us from fulfilling our tasks. We ask for love to enter into the hearts where there is only hatred. We ask for clarity as we take this time to search for truth. We are tired of the deceit that has kept us bound for generations, and we ask that all things that were hidden to now be brought forth for all to see. We ask for mercy when we have done wrong and clear guidance on our paths. We ask for guidance for our leaders, so their decisions will be just.

We thank you for our children that remind us of the innocence we have lost. We thank you for our Elders that remain to give us the lessons of the present, and the wisdom from the past. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. We thank you for the many gifts you have granted us. May we use them in the manner they were intended. We thank you for our family that have assisted in making us the people we are today. We thank you for those that come to us for a short time to provide us with the insight we need. We thank you for your love, guidance, discipline, and forgiveness. Emenv

Great stuff...the remeberance and gratitude of God and his provision for us. Brings back the days of childhood and my secret thoughts. The days of when what I ate tasted like color and I would think of food as tasting like brown, green, white, yellow.

I gratefully am, at this very moment, wrapping myself snuggly in the warm blanket of feeling loved.. I am hearing clearly a message given me a few years back when my illness had me bound tight.

The Spirit came with my morn...ing coffee whipering "Everything you need is in your own backyard"

So I took a walk and looked, really looked and tooks samples of the plant there growing wild. Researched them some, and behold, medicine of the HIGHEST order, free, organic and gifted right there within my sight, silently growing. I made teas, tinctures, ate it raw in salads, steamed, baked, broiled, milled, roasted, drew oil from, rubbed it on my skin, burned and inhaled the God infused power of common plants, that grow hillineeli in abundance. Dandalion, plantain, chicory, thistle, wild lillies and oh yes my life-saver burdock along with others. Plants like me, that in rebellion beautiful grow... no thrive...in spite of mans best efforts to destroy them. Weeds...are misunderstood flowers...like me. They healed me. I bloomed as they did.

The Morning Prayer shared a memory.

Today’s Hebrew Lesson: JeruSHALOM
The name Jerusalem - ירושלים - contains the word Shalom - שלום. “Shalom” is the very first Hebrew word most people learn - an...d it has three meanings: Hello, Goodbye and Peace. It is the word with which friends greet one another, it is how Israelis answer their phones and begin emails. But, Shalom is more than a greeting, it is also a blessing. Peace is the most important gift we can ask from God, on an individual level, as families and between countries. It is therefore most significant, that the world’s holiest city, Jerusalem - ירושלים - has the word שלום at its core because it is meant to be the source for all peace on earth. I dream't that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in... front of the first section and said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received."

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them." I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged
for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledgment Section," my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed.
"How is it that there is no work going on here?" I asked.

"So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments."

"How does one acknowledge God's blessings?" I asked.

"Simple," the angel answered. Just say, "Thank you, Lord."

"What blessings should they acknowledge?" I asked.

"If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy, and if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity."

"If you woke up this morning with more health than illness.. You are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day."

"If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation... You are ahead of 700 million people in the world."

"If you can attend a church without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world."

"If your parents are still alive and still married.... you are very rare."

"If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're unique to all those in doubt and despair......."

"Ok," I said. "What now? How can I start?"

The Angel said, "If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all."

Have a good day, count your blessings.

"Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability to share this message and for giving me so many wonderful people with whom to share it."

I thank God for everything, especially all my family and friends..
