Let's talk manifesting! What would you like to #manifest in your life?
Wishing you ✌🏼 and ❤️
“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.” ― Mahatma Gandhi 📸@josielewisart

Constructive self-criticism can be useful in helping us make better choices. But there is a big difference between taking an honest look at ourselves, and chronic negative self-talk. If you find that you replay the same demeaning stories about yourself in your mind, know that you are not alone.

Here are five steps that I personally find useful in releasing negative self-talk:

1. Claim the doubt or fear with your soul group - In my experience, trying to ignore these negative t...houghts will only make them more persistent. The best way to neutralize the thought is to share it with a member of your soul group. Doing so will allow you to claim ownership of this negative feeling, so that you can begin to move past it. Make sure you tell someone who will hold the space for you to express this feeling. You don't want someone to immediately contradict you and tell you how wonderful you are. While they may mean well, this can unintentionally block you from fully claiming the thought. Ask this person to validate the thought by repeating it back to you in their own words.

2. Script it out - One of my favorite ways to release negative self-talk is to write the thoughts down on a piece of scrap paper. Take a piece of paper and a pen, then set a timer for one minute. During this minute, write down every negative thought or feeling that is bubbling in your mind. These do not need to be full sentences, even just single words or adjectives will do. The point here is to flood the paper with your negative feelings, so that you get them out of your mind. Once the timer goes off, look at the paper and then destroy it. You can shred it, crumple it up, burn it, or anything else. While I tear up the paper, I like to say out loud "I have no use for these negative thoughts and I release them." No matter what you do, make sure you destroy the paper completely.

From "Every King Holiday has been a national “teach-in” on the values of nonviolence, including unconditional love, tolerance, forgiveness and reconciliation, which are so desperately-needed to unify America. It is a day of intensive education and training in Martin’s philosophy and methods of nonviolent social change and conflict-reconciliation. The Holiday provides a unique opportunity to teach young people to fight evil, not people, to get in the habit o...f asking themselves, “what is the most loving way I can resolve this conflict?”

On the King Holiday, young people learn about the power of unconditional love even for one’s adversaries as a way to fight injustice and defuse violent disputes. It is a time to show them the power of forgiveness in the healing process at the interpersonal as well as international levels." #martinlutherkingjr

I love to see how color energy plays into various spiritual approaches, and this card from my friend @colettebaron_reid’s Wisdom Of The Oracle deck is a perfect example. This card is called Imagine, and it calls us to focus on the power of imagination in creating our future. I am SO drawn to the blue in this image. I see blue as the color of truth and wisdom, and whenever I see blue around someone I immediately visualize a blue library. Stacks of blue books, blue desks, blue ...floors and blue walls dance across my mind. I interpret this blue image as the universal wisdom within our being. So often we keep our truth and ideas buried inside ourselves. This card and its imagery are a reminder to me of the power of our minds. When we imagine a brighter day, life and world, we create a better please. Ask yourself, am I presenting my truth to the planet? Am I consciously allowing a reality where I stand in my power? Let your imagination lead you to your greatest strength and wisdom! 💙💙💙💙 #yourlifeincolor

Setting an intention with color is a powerful and effective way to begin your week. Have a look at this image and observe which color draws you in the most. Take a few deep breaths and try to quiet your mind while you decide. Let me know what you pick in the comments below!
What you should look for is an emotional pull from one color more than the rest. Try to avoid thinking about which color might be your favorite to wear, and just focus on the color that "sticks" with you right now. That color carries an energy that can help you. Keep in mind, you will be drawn to different colors depending on what is going on in your life.
Once you choose your color, set an intention to use it today. You can do this by visualizing it in meditation, wearing it, or home decor. 📸@aliciacoraljewels #yourlifeincolor

Ruby red is directly connected to our heart center. It represents the root of our emotions and determines how we connect, as well as interact, with others. Ruby red can often be seen around healers and highly empathetic people. Ultimately, red has no boundaries when it comes to agents of the healing arts. #yourlifeincolor

Not many people hone their intuition, because we are taught from an early age to seek advice from outside sources. If we think of intuition as a gift, then it is not something we actually have control over. It’s much easier to look outward for guidance, but in truth, the most accurate psychic reading you will ever receive can come from inside of you. #intuition
