Or...misguided people defending their life's work. I get it, they've invested in a career that they fell in love with and now they see the public outcry. And it's painful to hear that they have become the villain in the story.
But, change will come. It is inevitable. The animal rights movement has been lifting the veil and exposing the truth behind animal subjugation.
Someday "The Orca Project" will become obsolete. But isn't that goal of any activist? To work themselves out of a job?
5 star rating from me. Because you don't need "proof" that an animal with a hundred mile migration would suffer in a concrete ring. Because the admin of a FB page doesn't need to "offer solutions", they just need to be the kindling to light that one fire that propels the cause. And because sometimes "feelings" and "opinions", not a scientific dissertation, are a truer moral compass. See More
**** update now that I have been banned fo...r not fitting their agenda and then not liking facts that disagree with them.
You ask how so? I correct with facts and you don't like it. Amazing how since I voice my opinion and you kick me out of group because you don't like opposition. See More
Spreading of misinformation with a complete lack of scientific eviden...ce to back up any claims made is just perpetuating ignorance. This is dangerous when Orcas and other marine mammals (cetaceans especially) are facing real life struggles in the wild. What we need are strong educated voices to build up the education of the uninformed so that we might actually create positive Action.
immediate removal of anyone making a singular peaceful, but educated comment screams Propaganda.
If you actually care about cetaceans, please consider making Action to help them, instead of spreading misinformation and propaganda.
This site below has some great tips on how to help Orcas from your own home without much change to your daily routine!

In Russia there's a proposed quota to capture 13 orcas and 200 belugas in 2019!
On top of these animals being doomed to a life in captivity, the actual captures are brutal. Without much experience, fishermen end up killing many animals in the process. Also, without enough information on population numbers in the area, it's worrying that removing so many could be very harmful towards the remaining population's overall survival.
Our friend SaveDolphins.net <https://www.keikoconservation.com/blo…/news/SaveDolphins.net> is asking people to speak out worldwide before the quotas are discussed on May 3rd (only days away).
Way to Help:
1. You can sign petition against the quota here:

The Orca Project shared Monterey Bay Whale Watch's video.
Another great one of Blackfish doing what they love. Wild and free. 💙

Killer Whales played with each other; thousands of Pacific White-Sided Dolphins and several Northern Right Whale Dolphins charged through the bay; Fin Whales swam together... Today - April 28th, 2018 all day trip!
