Not usually one to leave a review - but had such an enjoyable night tonight i felt i had to. Mark, the owner, clearly loves what he does and it shows as he spok...e to us through the whole menu giving honest opinions and recommendations based on what we were saying to him.

Food was quick, and crazy good. So cheap as well for what is great homemade food. Will absolutely be back next time in edinburgh and will encourage others to do so.

Was passing today at lunchtime, feeling peckish, so popped in on a whim. So glad I did - this place is a delight! Wasn't sure what to have, so the owner suggest...ed I try the mixed pakora - chicken, mushroom, haggis, black pudding, mixed veg & cauliflower. Really really good. Freshly cooked, served with salad & choice of sauce. The owner was very chatty & friendly and the café itself is nicely decorated & has a relaxed atmosphere. A spectacular find. Such friendly and attentive staff , took us through the menu. Such delicious flavours. Mixed pakoras and a lamb chilli burger. Fresh and fr...agrant. Then gave us his Mum's sweet to try....wow what a treat! We all had a bowl each and left feeling so happy we had found such an unexpected delight. Popped in the other day and was blown away by the pakoras ordered the mushroom Ines and they were amazing � so much so that I was a little piggy and ordered the... vegetable ones as well �
Hubby had the chickpea curry and said it was really great.
The owners were really friendly and service was excellent.
Will definitely be returning as still lots of vegan options left to try,

Visited here last night and have to say it was superb. The owners could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Great concept, nice menu and the quality of the freshly cooked food was excellent.
Prices are more than reasonable for what you get too. Will certainly be back.

Gorgeous chickpea curry with vegan naan and a side salad � didn't try the pakora so will have to come back! Looking forward to more vegan options as promised as well as soya or almond milk �

Was so lucky to come across the Pakora Bar last night. It was purely by accident but I am so glad. The food was amazing and the staff could not have been more... helpful! Popped in today, after not even knowing the place existed.

This is such a great find. The staff are personable and friendly and most importantly the food is amazing.

Loads of options for veggies too.

This is a great place. Amazing food. Very fresh and cooked really well. I had mixed pakora I couldn't recommend 1 because they were all as good as each other. The sauces are all homemade and delicious. I'll definitely be going through the whole menu.

Amazing Indian street food, everything fresh and homemade. Many different spicy pakoras to try even a pakora curry. And the mango lassi is to die for! Wonderful attentive staff too. Definitely a new favourite place to eat.�

Best chicken pakora I've ever had, and the Punjabi curry is amazing too. Good service and chat from the guy there, and the homemade sauces are incredible. The h...ot chilli and Punjabi sauces are delicious. The owner was happy to give us one for free. Plus they sell pomegranate San pellegrino which I can never resist. Took a box of mixed Pakora to a pakora lover in Fife. Some of the best she has eaten. Haggis, mushroom chicken ,aubergine and asparagus. Other street food also available including soup and samosas. Staff lovely and friendly. A wee gem. Also does Gluten free. Reasonable priced too.

I had a fantastic lunch here with my work colleagues this week. We were all catered for with ease - vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and meat eaters. Lovely food, lovely staff. I just wish there was a sister cafe in Aberdeen!

One of the best meals on our visit to Edinburgh. Had the kidney bean curry and veggie burger, very flavoursome. Staff where helpful and friendly, defiantly recommend it.

Such a lovely family run business....... we felt very welcome, and they couldn't do enough for us..... I'm coeliac and my colleague vegan and we were catered for extremely well......
