Today is the day...my last gig in Europe performing tonight at 11 pm in Utrecht at Kargador for the Festival de Bestuiving. Next gig is in USA in Brooklyn on Tues night. It was so much fun, and stress, some of that too but I made it.

The last time I was in Aachen I decided to go to an afterparty. It was up a long curly staircase and was packed. I was talking to some people and got a weird vibe, I don't remember what was said, but I saw this woman I had been talking to s...peaking with a group of guys and they all started to eye me suspiciously. My spidey sense said to leave but without telling my friends I had come there...I went outside and crossed the street. Lo and behold these dudes came outside looking for me, so I snuck off into the shadows. I thought I could make it back to the venue on my own but I had forgetton the name of it. I also hadn't brough any cell phone with me so I was basically wandering the streets wondering how I would even contact my tourmates if I ended up stranded in the cold. Just as I was starting to kind of panic, I saw a weird guy that was at the concert smoking outside of a bar I was walking by. I asked him about the concert location but he couldn't understand me. I motioned for him to join me inside and explained my situation to the bartender, who began speaking to the strange man, soon others joined in and the entire bar was surrounding me trying to help me figure out how to get to safety. There was a group who said it was near their hotel and they would guide me there. I never forgot Aachen. Meer weergeven
