Featuring Secret Secretaries' nic e.b. and a plethora of cameo appearances from members of some (dare we say "most"?) of our favorite bands this side of the Bay... and perhaps live performances by... ah, but that would be telling wouldn't it? And what's the fun in this shambling mess we call "life on Earth" without a bit of mystery now and again, eh? Put it this way: if you don't go to High Anxiety's video premier party at the Marquist this Friday May 31st, 2014, you will hear about it the next day wishing you were as hung over as us, wondering how circus performers wound up snoring next to you in a roach hotel on the other side of town, wishing you'd been there, handle of Jack firmly in hand like a metaphorical sword, slicing your humdrum Netflix-watching, asleep by midnight existence in twain, partying it up (and down... and sideways) with Oakland's foremost, hard-partyin' psychobilly rocknroll hoodlums. Even white pants-wearing whiskey-drinkin' Andrew W.K., after witnessing the "Marker Incendent," told Rollin'Stoned.calm: " I thought I was craycray, but those dudes really put my ass to shame. I gotta admit, I ain't got nothing on those High Anxiety boys."
Honestly, from the unedited snippets we've seen so far, director Ryan Anthony and the HA boys have made a music video totally unlike anything we've seen, and we are proud to announce that...
We have been working with Ryan on the pre-production of our own first official music video. (See?
