My wife and I stopped in The Shepherd's Church on Sunday a few years ago on our way back to Birmingham from a trip in Florida. We were encouraged and nourished in the word and stayed after the servic...e to chat with the leadership and some lay people. The pastor and his wife have since become dear friends of ours and we love and support this ministry. If you're in the area: check them out. If you're passing through, stop in for some wonderful encouragement and say "hi." I trust that you won't be disappointed. See More

My granddaughter and I visited this church today. Friendly down-to-earth people who seemed to genuinely appreciate our presence. I will go back again when I can.

The Abstract of Principles When the original charter of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary was adopted in 1858 it contained the following statement which continues as a part of the “fundamental laws.” “Every professor of the institution shall be a member of a regular Baptist Church; and all p...

Have you ever been called on to serve something great? Was it the military, a high level position at work, one of your family members, your community, or a friendship? How good was it to willingly serve and understand you had a clear call?

What would the church look like if Christ was truly Great?
