For those who care…Tomorrow’s show at The Loft with Fuel will be one of my last with The Skylit Letter (we are planning a farewell show for early August). I guess you could say I’m retiring. After almost 18 years, a bunch of different bands and many, many shows I’m bowing out on my own terms. I always said I’d ride it out until the bitter end but after months of thought and reflection I feel that... this is the (not even close to being bitter) end for me. It’s unfair to my best friends to hold them back as my goals and dreams have changed. I could not have surrounded myself with better people to make kick ass music with and the way they responded to the news of my stepping down with absolutely no hard feelings, no animosity and only a few tears will stick with me forever (love those dudes). TSL is the best band I’ve ever been in and leaving it is one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make in my 34 years, I love Steve, Reba, Derek and Nick like family and will continue to support them any way I can.
