You struggled to get a good family photo and now you have to design your card AND stuff the envelopes AND address the envelopes AND buy the stamps AND mail them. Does all of that fit into YOUR schedule? Not to worry!
I can fit it into mine! Save yourself some holiday hassle and check out www.thescnj.com for pricing and details!
FANTASTIC gift idea for those who have everything!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! So, what went right and what went wrong?
Take a moment to write down what you served, with a copy of the recipes and stick them in a folder for next year. For me, the Winter Sangria recipe I posted was a huge success. Roasted carrots? Maybe not a re-do for my crowd. Our biggest obstacle was that our oven would not start! FYI, unplug it and plug it back in before you panic...worked for us!

one of the main reasons people love to shop small is to find one-of-a-kind products.

Day 14! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope you are surrounded by laughter and great food and drink today.
You have done a lot of work at this point, go the extra mile and carve that beautiful bird the right way! Presentation makes a great impression and, quite frankly, will make you feel good.
So sharpen your knives and have some warm stock ready to drizzle over the top to keep that meat warm and juicy.
Enjoy! Thank you for following The Suburban Concierge's Thanksgiving series!
A few tips for tomorrow that I have found in the last 13 days:
1. Anyone who did not cook should be invited to clear the table and do the dishes.
2. Make it a device-free DAY.
3. Talk to the old folks. That will be us one day if we are lucky.
4. Send everyone home with leftovers.
Day 13! Unfortunately, many people don't enjoy cranberry sauce, or cranberry anything for that matter. (For the record, I love it!) If you are feeling guilty for using the canned stuff or not using cranberry at all, use this AWESOME recipe by Nigella Lawson on ribs or wings as your appetizer--or on Saturday when you are sick of leftovers!
Day 12! Here is an easy gravy recipe that I have used by Martha Stewart. Go ahead and make fun of me now, Jenn Lessieu!. She also have a variation with fresh herbs (Google Martha Stewart and Turkey Gravy with Fresh Herbs) that looks great.
***Tip: Make your gravy today or tomorrow. Great timesaver!
I think THIS is the Tats Thanksgiving cocktail! It all started with "How can I cocktail with a kumquat?"...
