Members Blake Hansen on banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and maybe if you're lucky, the occasional saw, dug up from the tilling of one of his many urban gardens; Nathan Harrison on the fiddle and banjo, when he's not serving as the city's pre-eminent square dance caller; Derek Roguski on guitar who can hold his own in an academic conversation while washing windows; Taylor Smith (never to be mistaken for Taylor Swift) on upright bass and the band's token vegetarian for any and all relevant tempeh jokes; and last but not least, Al Tharp on banjo, fiddle, and general wisdom on everything old-time, Cajun, and cooking with duck fat. And of course, each one has a lovely, lovely, swamp-lily-like set of vocals.
