Standing in the middle of a landfill just over five years ago, Brett Durbin was confronted with a reality that has been described by many as being the closest thing to hell on earth that exists in our post-modern culture. Children and families that have nothing scrounge in the trash dump for a few scraps of metal to pay for their next bowl of rice. But what could be done to help such a forgotten society?
Witness is the compelling true story of Brett’s experience as he obeyed the call to reach out to the least, the lost, and the forgotten through the formation of Trash Mountain Project, the organization he founded. It is the story of an amazing God, whose actions are very much visible in the lives of the organization and the people they co-labor with and serve around the world.

He wrote the script for and appeared in the documentary C. S. Lewis: Why He Matters Today which has interviews with such figures as Eric Metaxas, Tim and Kathy Keller, Chuck Colson, and Michael Flaherty.

Interview with Devin Brown

C. S. Lewis is one of the most influential Christian writers of our time. The Chronicles of Narnia has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide and all Lewis’s works are estimated to sell 6 million copies annually. At the fiftieth anniversary of his death, Lewis expert Devin Brown brings the beloved author’s story to life in a fresh, accessible, and moving biography through focusing on Lewis’s spiritual journey.

Although it was clear from the start that Lewis would be a writer, it was not always clear he would become a Christian. Drawing on Lewis’s autobiographical works, books by those who knew him personally, and his apologetic and fictional writing, this book tells the inspiring story of Lewis’s journey from cynical atheist to joyous Christian and challenges readers to follow their own calling. The book allows Lewis to tell his own life story in a uniquely powerful manner while shedding light on his best-known works.

“Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.” Sounds nice, but how do we find rest in a 24/7 world? Just as the Hebrews were slaves in Egypt, we have become slaves to technology. Our technological tools allow 24-hour productivity and connectivity, give us more control, and subtlety enslave us to busyness...
