  1. We welcome our newest member into the band! We proudly introduce Peter McCulloch. Peter brings a songwriting, a great voice and melodic bass (and here you can hear a track called "Perfect World" from his last band THIS ISLAND EARTH):

  5. Our team at Music Management USA posted this for our "Cellophane Sky" video this evening. The video was filmed at Webster Hall in the City of NY. If you've seen it before, this is a great time to watch it again and share it with friends to get out the word. If you've never seen it, well, today's your lucky day. Please share liberally and keep watching this space for new announcements and new show dates - possibly in your town.
  6. ...and there's also this for the people who ask us to play "Beyond Belief" at our shows. Problem solved in a big way!

Just in case it's slipped anyone's mind, please remember that music is supposed to be fun. Thanks to Todd's mom for sharing this video.
This has just given me such a big smile on my face ..........

In case you’ve forgotten, George Harrison was (still is) one of the best and most unique slide guitar players in the world. As soon as you hear the first note you KNOW it’s him. And who else besides Jimi Hendrix ever coaxed such a ballsy sound out of a Fender Stratocaster? Hare Krishna, George. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7HGkdDuIZ4

  12. It makes the hard work and struggles worth it when we get emails like this:

    "Hi there,
I'm a late bloomer here...but was at the recent IPO Festival and was turned on to your outstanding CD called Drawn In Chalk. Love it !! I was also pleasantly surprised to see it is attached to an independent film called Drawing With Chalk. I'm the hunt to find the film, read the synopsis etc. online and it looks fabulous ! Thanks for producing such wonderful music and looking forward to following The Turnback. Your fan, Dave in Massachusetts"

    Thanks Dave!

Well, I can't say I'm surprised considering how shabbily TSA in the U.S. treated our guitars when we went to Liverpool to play The Cavern back in 2012. These folks are really a menace and embarrassment to our country. Interestingly, as cr...appy as the agents in the U.S. were, the agents in the U.K. were amazing on the other end of the spectrum. Unbeknownst to us until we went to the carousel to collect our baggage, a U.K. agent even stood guard over our guitars for almost an hour while we checked in Customs because he said that he knew that they were important instruments to somebody and he wanted to make sure the wrong people didn't walk away with them. C'mon U.S. TSA. Take a little pride in your work and respect other people's belongings! - Thanks for putting up with another of my mini-rants. - Kenny Meer weergeven
  14. It's official. We are doomed. When people will gladly fork over hundreds of dollars to watch someone lip-synch and then celebrate it as if it was the greatest musical event of our lifetime yet won't pay $5 bucks to go see 3 or 4 hard working bands on a Friday or Saturday night, well...... Thanks for putting up with my little rant. - Kenny

Well it's the holiday season, which is always a perfect time for giving. This will certainly touch your heart & soul and maybe you'll feel the urge to make a small contribution to help some children via the link at the bottom of the story. And the kid actually wrote a really good song. You'll see.
  16. I've always thought (probably as too, has mostly everyone) that while a nice song, Paul McCartney's "Venus And Mars" wasn't the deepest of songs, lyrically speaking. After reading this article, apparently the thing was inspired by John Lenn...on and the events described in this very article - namely the two meeting up in Los Angeles in 1974 and John's ultimately unfulfilled desire to visit Paul in New Orleans while he was recording a new album with Wings. That album would turn out to be...... Venus And Mars, of course. Thanks to Gargs Allard for finding this great little article. - Kenny Meer weergeven
  17. Well, it was a fun acoustic show tonight at Matchless in Brooklyn as part of the International Pop Overthrow (NYC). Our crazy-ass moment came courtesy of David Bash, Dave Boogieman, and Aaron Kupferberg (as well as a couple of others in the... crowd who we didn't know) who insisted that we play "Beyond Belief" as an encore - which wouldn't normally be a problem except that we haven't played it in almost three years!! Somehow we made it through the song pretty well with the exception of both of us completely forgetting the lyrics in the bridge before the last chorus. But not too bad for a three year hiatus!
