On January 13, 2017, Neon Fauna played a gig at 13th Floor Music Lounge in Florence in the midst of recording sessions for the full-length album “Drag Beach.” Like all of their shows, the band felt it was a burst of energy and thought of bootlegging it.
While the threesome of decades past might’ve begun with getting trashed and “Oops, I just tripped and fell into this sea of bi-curiosity with my BFF and her BF,” and ended with a grab-the-jeans-and-book-it-before-dawn-only-to-never-speak-of-this-again, that’s really just not the norm anymore.

I have to challenge the comments made by Malita Brown (Sept 21-27) in regards to radical Christian t...errorism being connected to Hitler / Nazis, Timothy McVeigh, Dylan Roof, KKK, and white supremacist and comparing it to radical Islamic terrorists and making it equivalent. Radical Islamic terrorist are practicing members of Islam at the time of their crimes (as adults) and also were support by members of a mosque and their clergy. However, the Christian examples that Mrs. Brown cited were practicing their faith under the influence of their parents during their adolescence only and were anti-theist, atheist, or agnostic when their crimes were committed and did not have support or funding from the clergy or members of any congregation. This omission makes Brown's comments hollow of any thoughtful reasoning. As an example Hitler flirted even with the priesthood as a youth but ended up persecuting the Catholic Church as an adult and leader. She continued off the rails stating that the Alt Right is in alliance with the Bible in various left wing issues which without stating certain qualifications and explanations, makes her comments just a rant of misinformation. Her hatred of Trump is so intense that she loses control over what is the truth and what is just a myth. She also likes to pontificate about racism while her safe Wilbraham residence assures her verified 123&Me white European DNA. See More
