Amanda and Michael are celebrating their wedding tonight at Union Restaurant in Toronto. Congratulations to you both! Your wedding was filled with such warmth and joy, I'm so pleased to have been a part in your wedding today. Best wishes!
What better way to start the new year than to celebrate your engagement with photographs.
Ayelet and Ofir contacted me before the holidays, hoping to have their engagement photos created in a romantic snowy setting. So Canadian eh! I liked the idea, but this winter has not been nearly as snowy as usual. Shortly into the new year however, we had our chance and we acted quickly to arrange a shoot before the snow disappeared. One day later, the snow was gone.
Ayelet chose a beau...tiful location for the photos, at Eaton Hall in King City, Ontario. The combination of perfect weather, an idyllic location and a fun spirited couple, made for some gorgeous photos.
Congratulations to you both. I’m really looking forward to September 4th, 2016 : )
What a heartfelt and selfless gesture this Toronto couple has made to help Syrian refugees.
If they ever do want some traditional wedding photos, I'd like to shoot them for free.
If you happen to know them, help me get in touch with them.
What does a wedding photographer do on vacation? Create more photographs of course!
On a recent trip to Barbados, I discovered the Caribbean paradise known as Bottom Bay Beach. Like most idyllic beaches, it's off the beaten path, picturesque and secluded.
There was only one other couple at Bottom Beach the day I visited and as I soaked in the natural beauty, my wandering photographic eye noticed they weren't stretched out on a chaise lounge like me. Instead, they were less th...an casually dressed, toting a tripod, wooden sign and scurrying back and forth across the white sand. I recognized quickly what they were up to, an engagement shoot!

I've always preferred a natural film look over highly retouched and stylized photography. There is an honesty in that choice I feel. Something this husband articulated well in his recent response to a boudoir photographer: http://flip.it/TxWgv
