Hey Forge fans! The shop is back in business, its been too long and its time to get back to the old normal. Leather and digital work is a go. I'm finishing up my latest shield commission tomorrow. For now wood products and metal are on hold until I get a new shop established. Long story short, we're back!
Now that I've finally finished and the surprise present has bene received, I can post what my last project has been! A rocking adirondack chair! while I've made 2 of these in the past, they didn't have to rock, they were made out of pallets and quickly scrapped together for free seating. This is mostly cedar though the rockers are pressure treated because I wanted something that was 5/4 in width so they'd have a little more meat to them. Overall I'm pretty happy, it feels nice, rocks like it should and I learned a few things.
Diving back into crazy world! Rather than doing just 1 shield I ordered another and figured I'd do 2 at once! It looks like I may have a new commission coming in and ever since I sold Captain Canada I've been regretting it. So I decided its time to make another! Mark 2 here we come, and this time I'm making sure it gets to Nathan Fillion some how. I guess he'll always be a captain whether he's in a brown coat or dishing out maple-y justice,
