We were already subscribed to this amazing magazine and then they asked us to be featured in it... and for ME to be on the front cover! Huge privilege to be associated with such an inspiring publication. Real stories about real people creating real change. Also slightly shocked that the previous issue featured Russel Brand on the cover and then this issue was just me! Maybe environmentalists will be the celebs of the future?? Here's to hoping!
I'm not just recommending this magazine so you read our story, it's bursting with beautiful images and stories that will leave you smiling and excited for a brighter tomorrow.

Wow we are 13 days into our New Year's resolution of living more sustainably and this shop is such an eye opening experience. A month ago I would have run a mile from a shop like this as it would have... confused me and even though our first visit though our first visit today was slightly daunting Richard was lovely and made us feel quite at home. I will be back for more! See More

I love the Wild Sage Company shampoo bar. Doesn't strip the hair of its natural oils so I find I don't need conditioner. When you have to wash your hair over your kitchen sink like I do, this is an al...l round bonus!! See More

This is our new favourite shop - friendly, inspiring, affordable, a total joy!! The almond butter is out of this world, about 10 times nicer than any other almond butter we've ever eaten. Delicious (a...nd cheap!) maple syrup, everything organic, everything vegan, everything amazing. Really hope this idea will grow and grow, everyone should have a shop like this near them! See More

I love this shop and it's ethos. There's also a fantastic atmosphere with very friendly, helpful staff and it's great that you can buy as little as you want too. I really enjoy taking my time when I g...o in there and savouring the experience! And of course, last but not least it's addressing the issue that as a society we seem to be so slow to confront - packaging waste. See More

These shops should be everywhere! My daughter was most impressed. She's 16 so that takes some doing! Everything is Vegan, too. Love it.

This is a lifestyle rather than a shop, it enforces the idea of "the power of one" to impact change.

When you ask "what can I do" well this is a big step.
Be that ripple in the pool of life.

Here is some more positive news 😀

The National Trust has said it is phasing out single-use plastics from its shops and cafes by 2022.

This is an example of the difficulties we face as consumers.

"Come on Sainsbury's PLEASE STOP DOING THIS!

£1.35/kg loose vs 74.6p in unrecyclable single use plastic - it drives us mad.

You’re making plastic free choices ...a financial barrier & it’s not fair", said one of our supporters, Nathalie Swain-Diaz - and we agree!

NEW PRODUCT. Gone are the days where we need to use disposable plastic bottles to get clean hair. To accompany our Wild and Sage shampoo bars we now have the first disposable plastic free shampoo! Beauty kubes offer these boxes of shampoo kubes; each box contains 27 (1 per wash), you simply crumble one kube into the palm of your hand and add a little water, this creates a paste and it lathers up so wonderfully into a beautifully scented shampoo. Vegan friendly • organic • sulphate free and PLASTIC free. Made in Cornwall. ✌🏼

This is heartbreaking footage shared with us from a community member in beautiful Croatia. This field full of plastic bags is close to a place where they leave ...the towns garbage. There was strong wind for the past couple of days and this is what happened. Thankyou for sharing this plastic pollution problem with the world.

A million thanks to Ina Consani for this footage.

When Willow goes to bed, we work. We make our way through emails and all the other things that's needed when running a business. For a moment I felt sorry for myself, that I wasn't 'relaxing' but then I stopped in my tracks and turned immediately to gratitude. So immensely thankful that this is a reality for us. Today we receive the latest copy of @omnommag where @earthfoodlove is featured (8 pages!). We also received a hand written letter from someone literally thanking us for all we do. They went to the effort to write their gratitude down and post it to us. A random act of kindness that brought smiles to our faces. It makes all the late nights worth it. Now the hardest part... getting back to work and not reading this beautiful magazine filled with delicious food and inspiring stories. 💛

Fun fact: do you know why we are called Earth.Food.Love? Well let's rewind to 2014 when Richard and I was living in America. I was working as an E.F.L teacher (English as a foreign language) and during one of our walks around the city we were deep in conversation about our dreams and what makes us thrive and I was saying how although I'm good at my job, I really wish E.F.L stood for something im passionate about, such as the EARTH, FOOD and LOVE, it just fell off my tongue so... naturally and in that moment a seed was planted. I created an Instagram account called Earth.Food.Love (now named Earthfoodlovemamma but I haven't posted since willow was born, because mum life is full!). I would use this social media outlet as a space to share recipes I use, eco tips I've learnt and connect with like-minded people from all over the world. The beaded bracelet pictured (now residing on our fridge) was one I made whilst sat on Central Park one sunny afternoon. It was all these little things that have led us here, the power of manifestation. We visualized and vocalized what we wanted... the rest is history. When it came to making the shop a reality, we knew the name had to be EFL, but it wasn't self-explanatory like other refill shops, so that's why we added the tag line, 'the zero waste shop'. Protecting the Earth, nourishing ourselves with plant based Food and unlimited Love for all things are what drives us and what led us to this point. 🙏🏼💛

Sssshh he doesn't know I'm posting this. But HAPPY BIRTHDAY Richard 🙌🏼💛🌍Our neighbour gave him this card this morning and it is just perfect for him. He worked so hard to make his dream a reality. He is always looking positively to the future with an enthusiastic smile. The world truly is a better place because he was born on this day 29 years ago 💚

Remembering when we received our first order! We had no idea what quantity we needed or how the whole process would work. We often get asked how we decided to choose what to order, the answer is simply we looked in our kitchen cupboards at what we ate and ordered 25kgs of each product. As you can see, when you order in bulk it more often than not, comes in paper sacks
