Train okay, I would like, I said, I could pay 25 dollars to be here tonight to listen to this man and I'm not gonna I'm not gonna hold back. I'm not going to mince words. The reason I was interested in rand Paul when I heard it was ready for senator was he was this man's son God blessing he's probably my best friend in Congress, probably my best friend and uh, but I'm gonna tell you you know if you're looking from up from and it's hell and tell, I knew about Ron Paul and I knew about Ron Paul for a long time and I listen to it and I watched him in Congress by the way go back and watch some of his videos for maybe 20 years ago. Eighteen years ago, where he predicts basically everything that's happening today me uh it's just amazing, but it is my Dream to be on the stage here with all of these people, but first and for bucks to have Dr Former congressman, former candidate for President wow can you imagine if he had been President yeah The person who I'm not exaggerating to say is my personal hero, Dr Ron Paul We're gonna, an intervention that, with from my best friend, he forgets me that's what I could. Besides, he gave such a fantastic talk. You know maybe now so he uh he's, not a great job, good friends like that he said, Washington it's like to be on holding here with the governor. Maybe three You remember the House, gym bus got out that time here in a lot of times what happens when I meet members uh one of the questions they ask me if you miss it, you miss it, which means you miss made in the House of representative truth, is like God, ugh, but uh I said you know I used to you know be in the House of representatives. I went to the House tonight. You gonna get my work. It was never my home so now I'm at my home, I spent most of the time at home and uh and this is where I can do my video conference centers My video streaming and much of what I've been doing all my life so it's in a different fashion but it is a delight to be here. Friends. I've been to northern kentucky. Quite a few times over the years. It seems like only on when this move it was a lot smaller than it seems like. I came across the standing in the group in the nation And uh he said it is really nice to be hear about Thomas said you know, dimension, a little bit about that. The hampton guest very important that I was so ahead of them. I wanted to talk about him and uh not quite like he did, but what I wanted to do is make a point about it isn't, it only amazing that took his decades, years to finally get to legalize the opportunity for people in kentucky to make rope As the war on drugs, he has bad uh. You know there so little respect for the constitution. You know the prohibition here on uh percent, but I don't know maybe I personally have been talking to pretty good here during the probation probation probation was changed when there was a senator with people and they say we have to change the constitution. Can you imagine what would be happening today. We had to change the constitution for everything it's going on one thing. It would happen. It would have a lot less jump coming out of Washington if they had to go and deal with the constitution but the thing is things are so different now you know as far as how things are The process you lot of people ask me you know how often I talk to ran and that how do we Internet actually not a whole lot. Uh. We interact more when they're family events and it comes to Texas and we spend time together. But not a lot on on the uh. On the details, but uh I can't talk to a couple of weeks ago and I should be able to come in at kentucky this is northern kentucky. We have a lot of friends out there and trying to get into it by said writer, you coming to hear me speak this is and I don't want to hurt Your feelings and I've been listening to you since I was 16 Is it besides if you saying the same thing over again liberty and the review memory But it is great to be above enough so many friends and uh you know you get positive as well. We friend um, but you know when we give speeches on the floor. I know what weather is like the Thomas. Maybe he gets a classes for his lisa and I go there and work on and get my speech ready now to get a special word of her no, because everybody they know it is good and I always got my energy, leaving Washington never got my energy from Washington dc and I never believed for a minute uh. Our problems are political politics It's as superficial as a consequence of what you're talking about here, what is the essence of difficulty and Organization like this who are the champions of the look at why should be find the and where is it come. Trump and one book that helped me a whole lot on this. I mentioned this many times in campaign and that was nice the ads the law And he summarizes it very well. He talks about legalized plunder bad ideas that this is just terrible and what he's talking about his uh the plunder that people do to me tell her. You know the crooks and criminals in the bad guys. That's fun. That's States stanley is morally wrong and he's talking about legalized plunder with the government is doing and that is the English Complicated should simply and uh you know you know. I can't do it people still accept that in spite of all the problems and all the fighting is going on most people and we're not supposed to steal this but it was just a lot of jesus over people kill people. You know, but what is it that you and I can do it. We can take from our neighbor because we need something like one, something for think we're entitled to it. We still say you can't just go to the neighbor the only recourse is what you have to move now is save your Congress, but in their David and then that becomes legal that's Plunder and these things that has to be address as long as government is designed for legal plunder for the transfer and well one to another and we're gonna have a big problem with their soft at all. The uh book at the laundry in eighteen 50 in the sad part obvious, like and I'd about that time you know about the time the publishing the book at the age of 49 Uh birthday promotions, but it said it's a you know. We have some great books in libertarian thought and in economics and I'm working. My way through human action and some of the lot of rock March material. But um the uh the law is a total pages of 75 75 danger and it is abundant and it really terrifies everything that makes it simple most has a lot. You know and if you can do it. I Yourself you can let together that means the government would be very uh very limited and this uh this is a thing that he claimed that if you keep doing this at let it grow it will become a way of life for society. It will invade the judiciary and when they floral iman just look at it today, it isn't so much the executive branch the judicial branch of the Congress uh. It is in societies and throughout our provider government. I don't believe Man, I'm saying you know, Congress has fall there is a lot of people playing with the greatest burned flaws for changing things. It is in the Congress. They were supposed to meet top katie fall, but they just made it up, but they deferred to the executive which of course, I think it's very, very dangerous, so they uh. They default it and uh the purpose of that was to uh, if you know to do whatever they want, that's what they continue to do, but it has become a way of life and Uh if you look at the moral status, I mean you, we have to deal with first the morality of transferring well with force using guns to take the one group and giving to another well that's that's pretty radical. You know that that is critical, that you would say that you challenge them well. First day, yes, good that's. What you would do. You know we're not talking this uh called and we talked about me coming here. I said what kind of audience is gonna be is this gonna be You know chamber of Commerce party as I said, should I've been careful and uh. I miss my words it'll be a little bits on the issues he says. No. I don't think you're gonna have any problem. He said what if I wanted to say one again win okay, I our ass reveal the 16 And also, I wanted to make sure that I can talk about one of my favorite subjects having to do with monetary policy system. That finances this monster that we have. I said, can we talk about how to get the fanning and with a vs The dilemma legalizing the right to uh make rope and uh we're talked about In the world, everybody on ourselves to get to this point that we have the legalized and right to drink wala man. I'm ina hey. This is preposterous. I thought this up casually one time in a campaign speech and I figured that I might just talk to somebody in the crowd before that was in my not on my mind and some amazing. I think we should have the right to drink whatever they want and if they wanna grown ass up and down and uh and then when I brought about and I started breaking out more and more used to be about six People will applaud a new love, but its time went on the grass. We can really start to understand I'm not talking about y'all but I'm not talking about. I am gonna love talk about marijuana. I'm talking about realize deliver me yeah Okay, ready so so many of the audiences I had working with people and the response was good. It was favorable and I have not been discouraged by busy with a lot of campuses. I think that that's very good in uh jeremy. I'm very optimistic about what's happening in spite of the by the back now, where I spend most of my time to speak tonight about all the things we're doing it. What a mess we're band the economy is going to crash and we have a ridiculous foreign policy really I've been on the side of the to be an optimistic and young people respond to that and you know it was amazing. They he said Percent eight so positive rating now that I spend on you gave me 45 min spend 40 minutes to tell you how what you've been your hair caring and what a mess we have. It all over here. Yeah. I said, but you're offering something you're explain what's happening and it's not the end of the world and that there is an answer and that is what I like to talk about because the answer is better now today than ever before in spite of seems like a setback, economic policies understood better People say you, wanna go back to the edges you, wanna go back to the global stand. I'm gonna go back to anywhere but there's a better understanding about lawn jeremy policy in the modern agent ever before. So we want to go forward there's, a better understanding about uh economic policies there's, a better understanding on certainly and in the L effects of foreign policy, so this is uh. This is I think, very important and I think that young people respond how they responded to this whole issue Utilizing liberty which means legalizing liberty it means you get to make all your decisions about your life and then you can make as much money as you want and you can keep the money and the government has no right to tell you. but It also means and uh you know, even today, we accept the fact that we were supposed to have an intellectual uh freedom our University is going to the dogs and that isn't always the case, but basically, most Americans that you should have the right to Reserve you know the books that you want to reasons, intellectual honestly, for the most part, most Americans will say as you have a choice in religion, pick your religion. No matter which one and never know, religion. You don't want one and that is why I use it that we have become especially since the uh repeal of prohibition we've become obsessed with the government Telling us a thousand different things every single day and what we can put into our bodies We had to protect you from yourself when the government says it has a rule that their job is to protect. You from yourself. There's. Nothing left here bit. They will control every single thing. You do. You have to have that right. Does that mean you can do anything. You want no there's, a very strict rules in the society, talking about the rules are very strict. They say you had a uh, an economic crisis where there are alot of bankruptcies the market would have some rules. You don't get a bailout. You don't take money from one group of bail on another group and uh. he There's so many abuses, what they put in their bodies and uh they hurt themselves. Yes, what do you have to suffer. The consequence it is something you don't care. You know you know of our history. We didn't brought wolves most of the drug war. Any see his heard since the early 19 seven days and uh in there waiting on the little bit you know on this, but it's time to sell bad because some people say, if you want to use these trucks, you know it never affected me in my district very conservative district bible belt industry in the top of Long time and I knew I didn't use the drugs, but I've been talking about about liberty and this this was a lot different but the people who use that should should suffer the consequences and does that mean that it would be taking care of you know over the years you know that people, people probably abusing alcohol continues all more than the other ones begin. It happen and we didn't need a water loss the not done it. This is Atrocious problem and, if you live it eight people in prison there is original town to this that amount Justice system people do serve time for life for nonviolent crimes so you You and that one debate uh the subject came out of course you know the mainstream media likes to put you down and got you and they were asking me about what is this mean. You legalization coach, but you have would you make a large heroin and ideas from directly but uh ask them because that I'll, even realize liberty, but I would encourage the crowd. I said alright if we legalize parent tomorrow raise your hand and you'll start you The heroin I raise their hand to kinda start hair marcus legal the people who don't want to uh you know the uh Dream of choice of director Dr companies. They might not be able to sell expensive tranquilizers and uh also uh the drug dealers, but what they don't want. That, because it is a lot of it, but it's not good, that personal around he is, is key and it has to be done, but that is done not by governments dictating off when you think we have a wonderful opportunity right now, because about Percent people know, I don't like what they don't trust. The government anymore that's good news We're going to protect the weak and the people who need help. Uh but uh the people so dumb. They make a perfect care of himself. Okay so here, search all these people when you have to take care of so you can handle the system that we're gonna gather up hundreds of thousands of people bureaucracies in the judicial system and put them in the government and let them make all the decisions for you that's right people on the producer side and make mistakes and they're done, but that's what raising kids we're all about you know you're supposed to teach your kids about the danger that will teach you teach your left in the manger automobiles and fires and everything else Why, can't we assume that responsibility, but that what we do is we pass it on to government to government is going to take care of us and make us safe and secure and in the foreign policy arena uh nine 11 is creative atmosphere and it has been very, very detrimental to your personal liberties because I'm saying back then and even now, it continues to be in the same way and then he is uh. You know the purpose of God Movement is to make a safe. It isn't, a campaign to say do you have to have a police live and in front of your House and every time you say there was a mention of guns that were gonna long ago. You know the proper use of the second amendment would make our home safe and that is what makes them safe, easy. That night And we have facing an economic system, dance it's unbelievable, what's happening. It isn't just the 21 trillion dollars that's minor compared to the unfunded liabilities. Hundreds of millions of dollars and all other guest, whether the student down you know hundred and 23 uh one point two trillion dollars. It is not gonna be pay your starting to back off an excuse and some of that depth, but the people who pay that can work hard, not to happy with water bacon and offer you doing this, but it's daddy is not gonna be pay the National debt is not gonna be pay we're in negative balance and It's going to accelerate and it's gonna be a trillion dollars, a year and it's going to accelerate and even though your season rosie statistics and I am sure some of the things that have been done recently, the lower taxes and less regulation and a little bit of upbeat has helped the whole life. But he can't do the harm down a deeply flawed monetary policy and he is the encouragement, a big government for whatever they want in the combination of the service and the girls to spend where everything want you do my car win I'll New York Graham and the fan is always there. We won't have to tax. We do is we send the bills to fifth and they monetize it and uh. It distributes. It down around the back. We get the benefit of distributing all that extra cash around the world and so this is an illusion they're going to quit drinking quit date and there's dollars that we exploit paper body. We import goods so be careful when you blame people who have our selling has more than ever by With them when you're buying for us, they're buying our debt believe me we're sending this truly is a dollars overseas and they quit going our debt. Ballgame will be over that's what's coming and that is why, from the very beginning, that can be sixties, I started uh reading and studying about monetary policy is, is a key economic issue the whole way big government depends on it. If you love not, your isn't, we can have it without the federal Reserve. We believe in the welfare system uh you have to have it, but it is like uh oh my gosh get more uh warm it's a way of life It's a way of life on the welfare state, the cream death and it will come to an end, but um I think we have a big flawed Policy which I've said many times and uh it's surprisingly enough that some of the things that I've been talking about here when I said that the campaign there was a reaction by the established average of been surprising. What do you say when you said you mean that we have a responsibility to reading acts. Her person. I wanna kiss and I'm sorry what I'm saying uh so there's something uh but they still have said that but uh we have now right now for instance, we're in approximately hundred 70 countries we have over 200000 people and these are military The agent special forces and uh and higher packed you know people you know if they're hired and companies that participate, but we have an empire and the empire of William and I remember a conversation. I had with reagan. I was leaving the Treasury Department. I was not working adult Commission with your ats and uh. It worked out where I was to ride with to uh represent Andrew and fly attention so we talked we talked about goal because we were just kinda just came from the gold stand and remove my answers and he said you know he says there's never been a great nation that went off the gold standard that remain great and you look at what we're doing And we we are still the greatest wealth and power and all these thing, but we're coaching we're posting the solution out there and that there's, a lot of wealth attention. Well, isn't, there you say, well, she dp went up, but not as much as the printing of money, but if you just three money what do you print money and build drums to drive around the world. You can pick those up how does it him. How does that help us and if you look at this to just right now uh the people uh that are hurting. I believe the lower 40 to 50 percent are really hurting and they have been excluded. Idea program. Yesterday, uh about this is uh went up this morning that having to do with showing you know what happens since 19 70 uh 71. We went off the gold standard real wages did this and uh and nama and prices at this real wage is really haven't changed, much since 19 71 and that has been with the monetary system So when you see the demagogues have come out that want to sell you, socialism and have a half of one. There is a distortion and distraction the distortion in the distribution as well comes from the federal Reserve. That's why it's such an important issue if you don't like big government, get rid of the federal Reserve. If you don't like has policing the world and pretend that we can bomb the country's endlessly and every tire war and just expand the man and get rid of the federal Reserve can do What do you have campaign and ask me a question. Foreign policy will how you doing. I need true and it wasn't uncommon for everybody. It which is March Dan. We just marked out In the world's policeman believe me, it is not hamilton uh just just look at the history of the memories, since nine lead honey. How many lives that we take American lives and how many for minds that we can. How much peace and prosperity have we contributed to the Middle piece and it's on and on is going to continue to policy changer non intervention ism is what we should have. He was all about major, just isolation, hear my talk to talk to worldwide training with And uh pick up the mic with work, but the degree of that is uh that we should just stay out of the internal Affairs of other Nations and the other question of And uh, I never got a good answer from the opposition. I said well, we go and see what if this country comes and does that us. What you think now they, mary answer because I know what I would do if we have somebody drama House or somebody somebody's Navy in the Gulf of Mexico uh the response will be something either like after nine 11 every single one of us, like who's doing this and why you know what that We don't want to stop it so we should ask the question what would it be like if uh somebody else did it to us and uh the atmosphere know is that's where people are anxious to give up Germany for their safety and security and anxious to get it up to participate in the safety scared to death about what liberty is all about and not realizing, that History, if you wanna look at the most prosperity, the largest Middle class has ever been is the country and they have the maximum amount of liberty and then they play on your emotions and they said you have a beautiful care about people. Well, what do you As a fail and we're saying don't use it we're still here sure you're not gonna have the You know when I started medicine I tried to slice in the first years in medical school. There was no Medicare, no medicaid. I work in cafeteria hospital and we come in November. Is left on the Street and people well, my dad raised his family and that's the reason for this is we didn't have any of this stuff and people win. They were yelling and screaming. They have no medical care and all of the sudden you know something. They say how do you distribute this healthcare. We have to hear present special yeah. I said well wanted you distribute healthcare and we distributed sell homes Writer and lavender before that, the government inside we're gonna have cellphone it's a great thing. Keep an eye on your kids and communicate and all these wonderful places to be a safe, happy society. There's. So many good things that come and sometimes there's a government that wanted to eat on their cellphones and everything like that. So they're gonna do their going to argue that this would be just uh. You know wonderful if you could do that so I would say that the opportunity force and we have to realize that liberty is a release of creative energy and uh just This is what we want. We have the maximum creative energy we've been inventing Um prospers, but uh we have to be realizing that liberty has special values. One part that I love about liberty is it brings people together. You know because number one I'm not looking for a fight. Yes, I'm not looking for a fight so I wanna bring people together and uh that look at understand liberty. If it's a liberty, if somebody believes in liberty, but But they're not hurting anybody that's their own businesses are hurting themselves. Why should they join us in the defense of liberty, but uh that should bring us at the British altogether and I'm positive. That would be the case. I like I'm a bit of an optimist because when I look back over 300 years, especially since the industrial revolution can you imagine what happened, but the Earth is about 14 billion years old and human kinds been around by It's giveaway by fire exercise of years and uh the Industrial revolution, the real building the things that make you Silva hundred years that's all resisting my dad I'm delivered milk in a horse and buggy raw milk, even yeah yeah. It is that it's amazing that we developed the creations have so often been All the money and energy, because those airplanes and bonds and everything out and uh it, if we just change your clients, a little bit to take this creative energy and say why can't we have a peaceful sleep for society. I think it has a lot to do with education that's what I like to hear your is interested in philosophy of liberty and uh and and what to do different ways. What's what different things can we do to provide liberty by guest asked question all the time alright when you come in it's like what should I do and my necessary zimmerman Okay, you, everyone, yeah As the years go on, I am shot uh. You know this. Your group, by guest into three years, you know the significance of it and uh participate and there's a lot of groups that have grown out of Americans for liberty that came out of our campaign early and I've been so encouraging. Young Americans for liberty be going to the campuses so uh this is the reason. I'm optimistic that young people will receive this message that you can look and see you know well Bernie sanders is getting all these cheering. We have a hampton realize we're that cheering is place on main stream media. There scared to dance, but somebody's gonna reveal to you what liberty is all about because there's no reason for us to If we fail in this message, we're not very good at promoting our message and uh because the message is so many of us and for done productive peace and prosperity and uh and it's the fact that we don't have more people shopping in the dead force means that uh that we're not doing quite On it, uh because uh I think the understanding is there. You know what I can do, but it really still still has a difficult task. Everybody has a responsibility. I think a group like this has to be in a unique group of one or two or three percent of the population. You know what we do don't worry about it don't worry but go out and uh and spread the message you know the uh the majority never spreads and that's the Super majority of people go along and what people is on Tuesday Honor camper Center I do have a message and believe in something and that makes the difference and everything else in Washington is a reflection. Messing message has to be out there. It shows to get involved in politics not so much oh my God I am fortunate and nothing to do without the speaking out so I was shocked that anything about the fact that the people listen so uh. This is this is that to me, uh no And uh designs I think it's just great. I get great to life. How to nice to meet people old friends and new friends and we come together because I think we were looking for something wholesome and uh and we wanna share. It and we should have fun doing this because we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow uh for the next one or the next day but uh I am convinced, though, there's no reason to uh be down on it and make it a lincoln St possible because I think my time Time has come, it cannot be stop the military installment of the government can stop it and even some money in a raffle and Social media, uh he won't stop us. You know in the old days, it was pamphlet earring in one on one today I think you and when the Internet came out. I saw it as a great delight little bit disappointed lately, but what I do now is. I do reach a lot of people with our programming uh. What I used face open and uh You know you to uh in spite of the short numbers, but there's always you always gonna be away and I do believe that truth wins out in the end when you're so much struggle and it's so easy to be despondent over there. It is so easy to be distracted. One of the easiest places to be distracted is a senior in Washington, so when you be shudders to like this and in there and they don't to strive got they have been distracted that means they're built of some sound character and you won't have to worry about, but Straight the message get more people involved. Um and I have done in his log in and learn to Washington and I'm running for office and supporting candidates. But its second year its second marriage. What the people believe that prevailing In Washington, first thing is it would be a lot easier if you have responsible exercise government. The government would be so much smaller that we would have to think about how it control is but I tell you what reason why it will be easier as time goes on. This system is going Part economics, maybe I think we're gonna have something as babies that what happened to quickly uh quizzes uh your downfall of the uh the Soviet system. How many people predicted nieces But the collapse of the system that to me was the most magnificent thing of the twentieth century prove the sexual racism and doesn't work And uh, I think that will happen. Our system, but we have some remnants. We still have people have you don't love liberty and are still working for, but the problems out there are big in that because you take a country, can take their money print trillions of dollars secretly and then some time on the open and put zero interest rate has made you to started the price and you have cause a lot of people like a lot of mistakes and a lot of prices are higher than it's supposed to be and market has always powerful than governments cannot control and I think of one control that I watching the wrong time for the more And they have to do with the gold standard. We make it uh. We messed around with the gold standard up at the world war, two establishment Woods and he was now that would you would fail so they are officially can't go to 35 dollars now dollars goal. So all during that period 25 percent you want he says go to school with a three pounds and has a jewelry We, wanna pay you by holding the dollar the dollars anymore so we can fold. It on there and uh Like if they could pretend at more than dollar, was good old 35 dollars I had to do is ban the rules and gold soldiers that hundred dollars we're still doing that. You know, I was a little price. All the time. It is a reflection. We still give you that don't have to manipulate. They have to give you. They have to be uh irresponsible statistic. Economics statistics should always be challenge because they're building the case and justify Want to do and let me tell you about your saying that the cause of liberty is live and well no reason to be despondent it's easy to explain and freedom is a freedom is something that is very wonderful and uh. It is based on the dodge young and uh Uh it's a non aggression principle if, if you can't use aggression against anybody else with me and in a free society where rules are very strict, no mind, no cheating steering authority and the killing not you obligate and it's biblical, is history and it was something that I will share but you know the great religious is not it's not that complicated but we have to get people to understand greatest participate in the greatest threat that, in doing the opposite, our our governments, our governments are the greatest wonder And uh they and they're going to plunder until it's all gone and there will be a new time coming and optimistic enough that your efforts and everybody else is ever will be strong enough. That we can reform it and come out once again with the society that we can really do problem. Thank you
