Glenn Matthews1starI took my Opel Zafira into Opel as the air-conditioner was not working. They advised they could not fix the air-con so c...lose to Christmas but washed the car whilst it was in. When the guys closed the boot they broke the lock (obviously not on purpose). When I collected children from school the following day I could not open my boot. As we were leaving to go on holiday the following day I took it straight back to Opel who advised they had no-one to look at it and it was just unlucky that it happened whilst in their care. They now would like to charge us R2000 to repair it. Sorry Opel, but if you break someone's possession s, even if you do think it was just unlucky that it happened whilst my car was in your care, it is your responsibi lity to fix it. Perhaps your guys slammed it too hard or perhaps it was just the unlucky day the lock broke but the fact of the matter is when I gave you my car it worked and when I collected it, it didn't. This was my response from Thorpe "Yes, the part might have broke in the possession of Thorp but I do not believe the part broke because of Thorp - if it never happened here it would have happened further down the line" Shame on you, Thorp!
