- Please read and do what you think is best, I just did!! On the "Tod...ay Show", Matt Lauer interviewed one of the wives of one of the Navy Seals killed along with the US ambassador in Libya . He asked what she would say to her children about their dad and how she would want them to remember him. Her answer, and I quote, "His love for Christ", and then continued on with a few other things. Throughout the day and on MSN homepage, replaying the story, they have edited the "Love of Christ" part out. Why? Because using the word Christ might offend someone! Well, I am a Christian and I am offended! I'm offended that they would edit it out. Offended that we as Christians are asked to tread lightly so as not to offend someone of another religion. This man loved his country and loved his God and gave his life for both, just as Christ gave His life for him. There are e-mails that go around saying, "If you believe in God" then forward this. Well, I am starting one right here, right now. I am not ashamed of God. It is time to take a stand. GOD Bless America! God Bless us one and all... Please GOD, have mercy on us! - I live on the Treasure Coast of Florida and was appalled at the repo...rt this morning on your broadcast about the toxic algae in Stuart, Florida. I'm not sure where you got your information about the cause of the algae bloom, but everyone who lives here knows the real culprits are Big Sugar and the Army Corp of Engineers, not overpopulation and septic tanks! Sugar growers and the Army Corp of Engineers have together diverted the natural flow of the Everglades and consequently polluted the coastline by dumping the overflow from Lake Okeechobee into our rivers, estuaries and the ocean. It is clear from an aerial view of the water where the lake waters are being released and their relationship to the toxic bloom. It is ludicrous to suggest that this is happening from septic tanks and overpopulation if you look at the demographics of the east coast. The more heavily populated areas are further south where there is no toxic algae. Check your facts please! This is a very serious issue and we need the press to report the truth about this tremendous ecological disaster in the making. See More
