Thank you, District 7. It was my great pleasure to be your Democratic candidate.

Richmond, Virginia - November 4, 2014 - Jack Trammell, Democratic candidate in Virginia's 7th congressional race, conceded victory to his challenger Dave Brat.

The support I've felt today has been great. Thank you.

First things first, please know that your support for Jack has meant so much to the success of this campaign. We've had such incredible momentum since this all began and we couldn't have done it without supporters like you.

But we have an opportunity to send bi-partisan leadership to Washington. And with your help we'll turn out every last Jack Trammell supporter to the polls.

Here are three things you can do today to ensure VICTORY:

VOTE -- the single most important thing you can do for our campaign today. Polls will be open until 7pm. If you have not voted, be sure that you know where your polling location, when you'll vote and how you will get there and bring a valid photo id.
TELL A FRIEND -- change begins with one person. Family, friend, or neighbor, every vote counts in this election.
FUND OUR VOTER TURNOUT OPERATION -- every penny until 7pm tonight will go straight toward geting out the vote, and helping to get supports to the polls. >>>Contribute $5 dollars here!<<<

Whichever option you chose, or perhaps you've chosen all three, Jack will be incredibly grateful.

Let's win this together,

Team Trammell

It was a long but very satisfying day.

My daughter Mary Claire was with me from start to finish -- from the big rally with Senators Warner and Kaine to phone calls, canvassing and everything in between.

I'm going to try to get some sleep tonight, knowing how much is at stake tomorrow.

We have an opportunity to bring real change to the 7th, but it will take every one of us doing our part -- most importantly, going to the polls.

I'll be voting in the morning and then meeting with voters throughout the day.

Once the polls close, I hope you will join me at the Hilton Gardens Inn, downtown Richmond, to celebrate our journey and successes.

I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Great story out today from Grove City College.

While there are a lot more Grovers on the political left than some might suspect, the College’s reputation as a breeding ground for conservatives is well-known and the candidates and political players it produces are usually on the right side of the spectrum.

I'm having a great day on the trail with our daughter, Mary Claire.
