"I hope this business realizes how vital independent record labels are to its survival. We are the people who create authentic opportunities for essential artists."- Jessi Frick at Father/Daughter Records, thanks for writing this.
"Rock ain’t nothing but a white version of rhythm and blues, motherfucker."

Gratitude. I feel so much gratitude for the musicians in my band. Playing music with them every week has been the best therapy for me during a difficult time. T...hey fill me up with enthusiasm. They push me to do this, to keep going. They share my vision and help make it a reality. They are also my friends. I owe them a lot and I feel like I'm one hell of a lucky dude. We have been working on a bunch of new songs that I feel are my best yet. Just a few more, and we will have the next album. Come see us on Saturday Feb 3 7:30pm at the Make-Out in SF, one for the early-birds.
We have always supported independent artists here at Tricycle Records. And we are thrilled to support Mike Deni and Geographer. It's not easy to release a record on your own, and this is where you come in as fans. Support local artists and support local music. The world needs it.

8 years ago, we met the incredibly talented Mike Deni also known as Geographer. In this industry it's rare to find an artist so committed to making music. So when you get a chance keep it alive, your support is everything.
It's finally time to release my new EP, Alone Time, and I want you, the fans that I do all this for, to be the first ones in the world to get their hands on it!... I've teamed up with PledgeMusic to put together a really special pre-release campaign, and it is now LIVE!!!
For me, Geographer has always been about connection. The chance to share the things I make with the world, and look at all your faces during a concert while I do my absolute favorite thing in the world, is truly a gift. And I think it's high time the rest of the music business was as beautiful and meaningful as performing a concert to the best fans in the world.
Thanks to places like PledgeMusic, fans and artists can take the power out of the hands of exploitative entities, and put it back in the hands of the people that matter most: the people that make the music, and the people that love it. We can change the entire music industry for the better. You as fans can help empower the artists you love, you can actually give them the tools they need to keep making the music you love, and who knows, maybe one day the radio will be filled with your favorite bands. It's already starting to happen!
So check out my PledgeMusic store, and peruse all the unique merch items and experiences. I'll remix one of your songs, sing karaoke with you, eat tacos in San Francisco, skype with you, and tons of other fun stuff that I'm really looking forward to.
Thank you again so much for being such a big part of my life and passion, and I look forward to seeing you on tour, if not sooner (at karaoke!!!)
