Job Opportunity in #Swansea!
From the Station to the Sea is recruiting a part-time Project Manager for a fixed term contract beginning in January.
From the Stat...ion to the Sea is a collaboration between Volcano Theatre and Coastal Housing Group, funded by the Arts Council of Wales through its Ideas:People:Places initiative. Station2Sea is all about Swansea High Street – the idea of the High Street, its lived reality, and the possibilities of its transformation. Since 2015 Station2Sea has been developing and delivering a programme of arts-led projects designed to address some of the needs and concerns of people who live, work and otherwise spend time in the area.
Station2Sea is now entering the final months of its activity and we are restructuring our team to enable us to spend dedicated time on developing the programme’s legacy and the sustainability of its work beyond the end of ACW funding. The current Programme Manager is stepping back to focus on this, so we are looking for a highly organised, pro-active Project Manager to lead on completing the delivery of the work that’s already underway.
The application deadline is Monday 13th November, 10am. Download the full job description from our website:

We've got a mini exhibition of all things #trouble2017 up in Volcano till 25th September. There are beautiful prints by the Plebeian printmakers (plus a short film of them doing their thing), Math Roberts' excellent street pics and Matt Collier's evocative sound reflection. Plus! If you didn't have your fill of spinning that Hashtag Generator, it's still here...
Come on down and say hello!
You may have spotted someone lingering around wherever and whenever anything was happening during the fest, a pair of earphones never missing from his head and a semi-frown of concentration on his brow... Well, that someone was sound artist Matt Collier, capturing the audio reality of everything that went down at Troublemakers'.
Matt has used his recordings to create a short and rather gorgeous Sonic Reflection of the festival, and I'd strongly urge you to plug... yourself in and settle down with a cup of tea to have a listen and be transported back to July...
