Would not like to be that person to make the mistake....but this sounds like bad design was more at fault...not even a confirmation message? Worse yet, there was no protocol or process to rescind/recall/correct an improper alert.

“Shortly after 8 a.m. local time Saturday, an employee at the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency settled in at the start of his shift. Among his duties that day was to initiate an internal test of the emergency missi...le warning system: essentially, to practice sending an emergency alert to the public without actually sending it to the public.
Around 8:05 a.m., the Hawaii emergency employee initiated the internal test, according to a timeline released by the state. From a drop-down menu on a computer program, he saw two options: “Test missile alert” and “Missile alert.” He was supposed to choose the former; as much of the world now knows, he chose the latter, an initiation of a real-life missile alert.
Facebook plans major changes to news feed.
BBC News: Facebook is to change how its news feed works, making posts from businesses, brands and media less prominent.
Instead, content that sparks conversations among family and friends using the site will be emphasised, explained chief executive Mark Zuckerberg on his page.
Organisations on Facebook may see the popularity of their posts decrease as a result, the firm acknowledged.

Flow Trinidad has announced an speed upgrade to existing Flow broadband residential packages at the same monthly rate as well as offering a new "Lightning" broadband package.
