I made transfer of 140,000 naira on 22nd of December from my account to a Zenith bank account and the transaction failed but to my surprise my account was debited for this failed transaction and the p...erson I sent the money to did not receive the money up till now. I called the customer care of UBA that same day they told me that the money will be reversed to my account, it does not happen, I also made call to the customer care on 27th December being a working day all what they can tell is that a case has been open that they will do it in 10 working days. Each time I call them up till today they still repeat the same thing that they will do it within 10 working days, this is nonsense my money they are holding onto it and telling me that 10 working days, in other banks such issues are done in 48 hours. this is very sad this case will be the third case in 2017, even there was a time I used my UBA ATM card to withdraw from a UBA ATM machine but the machine debit my account without paying, it took over one week to receive my money back, I have to go to bank made a serious problem there before my money was returned, this is unfair with UBA. Also I got to know that UBA is deliberately doing this so that people can forget their money.

Why is this bank behaving like thieves, deducting my money without, reason and top of all, no alert, you guys are serious thieves..... Is that how to start the New Year?? Stealing from your custo...mers??

UBA made a terrible decision by placing a lien on my account without prior notification or to hear from me based on false report given by a friend that he erroneously transferred a sum of #150k to my ...account. The money was sent on purpose & by mutual understanding by the sender, not by error as claimed. This hold/lien on my account is giving me a hard time as a family man who needs to provide for his children and wife because I can't access my own account. I have contacted UBA via mails and calls but all they say is that they are investigating, I believe that's what they should have done before placing the hold/lien without my consent or proper consultation. I have some little evidences like my conversation with the sender that can prove that the money was not sent by error, that the sender lied in order to get back the money. Some banks will never do such to their own customers.
This matter needs urgent attention because am totally depressed and don't know what may happen to me next.

This is the most incompetent financial organization on the face of this planet. Stop exploiting and stealing from your customers, you have no idea how people hustle for their money. Stealing is a sin.... To think i used to boast of this bank when other people complain of theirs makes me sick. How many times will y'all charge for card maintenance in one month? Now you're telling me it's for my previous cards same cards i asked to be blocked in July/August. Thieves! Looters! Ain't you supposed to block the previous cards before making a new one? See More

UBA u guys are thieves, how can u be deducting money from person account 3-5 times in a month just because of so called card maintenance.

How did u even maintain a card that is not with you, do u ba...th the card, hv u eva clean d card, hv u repaire or service it once abi is the card feeding on u. wht type of stupid maintenance is dat
Did i even ask u to maintain the card for me, wait o, is it ur card, or is d card urs, is it ur money, is it ur account, is it ur naira, is Nigeria urs? Mtcheeeeew person money can't even rest in ur bank safely....lobbiss

Pls fellows, tell me what it takes to close UBA account bcauz i can't bank with those thieves anymore.

I don't actually like how UBA bank is debiting me how the your bank debit 468 naira from a student account for just a month is not fair .this is not the first time. u people have been cutting my money... anyhow and I don't really like it ..is not like this when am operating with eco bank they don't debit me like this .please u people should do something about it because am getting tired ...thank u ...franklin I Osueke.. Seriously,this bank is now a real thieve,they keep deducting my money and they said they will refund in 24hrs till now I can't see d any refund,why are they behaving like a thieve....this time they wo...uldn't go Scot free,i had 15k in my account and I made a transfer of 1k to make it 16k but when I will check my balance I saw 13k.....till now mine 3k was not refunded and this now the first time they will be deducting my money See More

I tried to make a transfer using the *919# code.. After failing over and over. It eventually said i didnt have sufficient credit for the transaction... And i didnt even know that i was being charged f...or this service... Imagine!

Ok, i decided to go the quickteller route online. I did and sent the money. Only for me to see that i was deducted for the transfer that i was told i didn't have sufficient airtime for.

So i ended up sending the money twice....

VERY USELESS BANK!

Uba is very good,i remeber when i use gtbank they where kind of very stupid i disrespectful lady there,they don't answer costumer on time,i have to block it and use uba bank....uba is very good,they a...nswer costumer on time...they dont let you go without not solving what brings you there,they speak politely and pay attention to customers......i love uba. I transferred some money from my UBA account to my FIRST BANK account on the 21st of Dec.. I was debited, but I never got the money in my first bank account. I lodged a complaint since 21st of Decembe...r and they said they would get back to me, which they never did, I called to follow up, and UBA claimed first bank said I was credited, which was a lie. I sent my statement of account and UBA confirmed i wasnt credited. i am yet to be refunded. This is the 2nd time I am having the same issue with UBA. I called again today and i was told it was a successful transaction, despite all the evidence and UBA confirming about 2 weeks ago, that I wasn't credited.

I sent money to sky bank customer ,the sum of #54,4 68, since March 30, the receiver didn't receive it yet and it was not revers.
I have been making complain since that day , and they didn't take any... action on it.

Good day UBA and First bank Nigeria
To everyone, these two banks need to employ young and well experienced staff at the costumer service call center unit if possible go and learn from {FCMB or any... good bank in Nigeria }
UBA and FIRST BANK find it difficult to communicate, they have been unable to provide 297,500 since 24th of November up till January 03, 2018 which I have ask for the release of the fund to MR OLAOYE who have been going to the bank almost everyday.
Transfer between Isiaka bilikis ayomide 20******27 UBA and olaoye oluwaseun ayodele. 30******62 first bank on 23/1/2017
UBA call center need to replace their CFC customer service manager, different people are handling this same issue on one email, which is not so in other or some banks, starting from 24th these are the lists of the people that attended to me on one email
