study I just wanted to say or her I hope you had a wonderful week um again I am valerie bronte I'm with who are solidarity movement we are an Organization of White people working under the leadership of the African people socialist party we're advancing the African Liberation movement under the leadership the African people socialist party into the belly of the beast into White the way community organizing for reparations People and solidarity with blackpower grew yes please share this live stream when you come into the room share it to your timeline share it to groups share invite your friends but um comrades people you think would be interested in hearing about how to get on the right side of the question um how for White people to get on the right side of question when it comes to colonialism imperialism and our legacy our the legacy of violence um that we have as europeans and the responsibility and accountability that we should be taking to overturn Our relationship to capitalism or overturn our um our relationship to imperialism and um the parrot ism that uh we as europeans as North American people um certainly that is that is the most uh adequate summation of our condition right now is that because of colonialism and because of imperialism um why people exist on a pedestal um propped up by the labor and resources of the rest of the planet so um we see Part of the who are solidarity movement um the opportunity given to us by the leadership of the African people socialist party to return reparations to the African revolution and certainly to um be on the right side of the struggle uh sharing the same feet whether a victory or in death as comrade jaguar said many years ago I do see we have 11 viewers I wish that I was seeing 11 hundred viewers that would be really the Um that would be uh like really just the tip of the iceberg for what we need to get started here as why people taking responsibility for 600 years of colonial genocide so as you're under the leadership of the Afghan people socialist party as part of uhurusolidarity movement so we were led in formed by the African people socialist party in 19 72 as part of the strategy to advance that African Liberation movement into the White community and we have three principles of unity so the first one is that we um are formed and led by the African people socialist party and the second is that African people have the right to lead their own struggle and number three is that we work in the White communities to win material solidarity Not wait saviors we're under the leadership of the African people socialist party is part of their strategy to advance the struggle for African Liberation so the party itself is led by omali yes you tell us it was founded in 19 72 by the merging of three organizations the Hunter of militant organizations are jomo the black rights fighters from Fort Myers Florida the black study group of gainesville Florida and it leads the struggle of the African working class and the Masses of the world against the United States dominated capitalist clueless um oppression all of the manifestations of oppression that result from this relationship um so this is you know the exploitation both at home and abroad party recognizes that the particular character of repression of African people within the us borders is domestic or internal colonialism so black people are not a race they are a nation of people whose birth rates Africa there African people so uh Called upon to keep African Liberation at on our minds 20 47 so we say the word of who it's the swahili word for freedom um we we are using it to keep African Liberation constantly on our minds we have uh um some non factor organizations that exist out there in um the White nationalist world that are trying to take the word of her but they're going to just um inevitably um bring to mind African Liberation no matter where they are when they use that word so uh yeah I just wanna say a herd to everyone um who wants to keep a Liberation at the forefront of their minds today we wanna salute chairman omaliyeshitela we do the African people socialist party deputy chair owners international stella um who leads all the economic work of the African people socialist party including 26 different economic institutions for um the community economic development and uh self determination including the black power blueprint program which has been so successful over the last year that all of you have been so generous in supporting and it definitely wanna um And solidarity leadership penny pass the first White woman to take a stand of reparations that African people when the party uh formed four and uh the African people as a solidarity Committee in 19 76 so um that are leadership in there who are solidarity movement is jesse nimble and hopefully this month will be able to have just nevel um join us as we start to expand the programming around the spearstudy um the burning spear so why do we study the burning spear so the burning spirit is favor was Founded by chairman omaliyeshitela um when he was part of the of military organizations or Joe so it's going into its fiftieth year of uninterrupted publication um it is the only is the only revolutionary newspaper that I can say that so this is the only blackpower revolutionary newspaper that has been an uninterrupted publication since 19 68 and it's tabloid format so 19 69 the party took over the printing of the Bernie spear and 19 72 upon its founding and uh yeah we just been celebrating 50 years of the burning spirit this month been um another incredible milestone just further proof that the African people socialist party is the vanguard advanced attachment of the African working class the definite is the authority of leadership on the African Movement worldwide and we have on this honor to um receive our political education and us and study um the theory of African internationalism the materialist political world view of the African working class as laid out and developed by chairman omali should tell us so this month's article is from the December 20 eighteen fiftieth anniversary issue of the Bernie spear from the North America section the Movement grows under the leadership of the vanguard party so I wanna take a minute for everybody to get ready and get your spears open because there isn't an online version of this article so um I see that we have 10 viewers in here today were gonna need at least 10 more viewers so if you're watching please put somebody into the room please share this widely get people interested in learning more about the incredible victory this year of the party's leadership which was that the uhurusolidarity move that was able To raise um as part under its leadership of the s where the Mass Organization of the African people solidarity Committee and under the leadership of the African people socialist party we raised a hundred thousand dollars and White reparations to African people which went to um which went to um bring the victories of the black power blueprint programs for economic development and self determination in North saint Louis Missouri um to reality this year I mean just open the There who House in North saint Louis in um April of 20 eighteen that was really awesome and incredible and then the um the the buildings that need to be demolished across the Street to make way for the one African nation market place that took place um in the fall and then we had the historic seventh Congress of the African people socialist party there at a alcohol in your um your House in saint Louis and um got to salute the 25 Red black and Green African flag every morning as part of a Congress that was just it's just incredible to see the neighborhood transforming under the leadership of the black power blueprint and it's an exciting thing for all White people to be a part of so the reparations movement grows under the leadership of the bands are party I wanna say hello to Kevin garner from asheville North Carolina thank you for um coming into the studies today I wanna stay here oo to then Of St Louis Missouri thank you for coming in to the study today um tomorrow tomorrow and get some uh good to join us on the study today from Boston massachusetts I'm really excited bar is gonna work out this week so it's very cool that you got to join us in the study today alright so from October seventeenth to November fifteenth 20 eighteen uhurusolidarity movement launched its annual days of reparations to African people speaking tour formally known as the days on solidarity with African people the days of Reparations tour traveled to nine cities and held three viewing parties including the first ever to be held in perth Australia as well as viewing is in oakland California and asheville North Carolina six of these events featured leader and founder of the movement chairman omaliyeshitela as the keynote Speaker other speakers included penny has chairman of the African people solidarity Committee APSC jesse nevel chair of their who are solidarity movement us um and African people socialist party leaders like a killing ie And mila and convene a bunch of shingle city's included saint Louis Missouri huntsville Alabama saint petersburg in gainesville Florida Philadelphia Pennsylvania New York Boston massachusetts Seattle Washington and portland oregon Mature represented a groundbreaking victory for the African people sub socialist party longstanding strategy of building White solidarity with blackpower in 19 76 chairman omaliyeshitela form the African people solidarity Committee as an Organization of White people under the party's leadership assigned to go back into the White community and build reparations the African revolution 42 years of struggle by the party and the African people solidarity Committee led to a day of reparations tour that bolstered USM membership surpassed all of its fundraiser fundraising and recruitment goals for the year Hundreds of people to events throughout the world and revealed a growing popular movement for White reparations to African people and Seattle Washington the final stop of the tour chairman omali declared that through the solidarity movement the party has discovered quote the chink in the armor of White power and quote he showed how APSC in USM represents a quote extension of the African revolution into the White or North American community end quote the events drew a broad spectrum of White people enthusiastic about joining the solidarity movement including Mediating chain smoking working class White people the same way people who would normally be dismissed by the White left the White people who came to the days of reparations we're thrilled to have a connection to the black revolution through the party USM is winning whole communities and building a culture within the White population that is centered on reparations to African people African internationalism community the party solve the problems of the revolution as You should tell explain this political report to the seventh Congress one of the qualities that marks the party as the advanced attachment is its consistency in solving every outstanding problem leftover after the defeat of the black revolution of the 60 s this includes the question of reparations where they would come from who would be responsible for getting them and the question what to do with the White people chairman omali I should tell it answered this through the creation of APSC and the formation of its Mass Organization that who are solidarity movement these organ is Not only work under the party's leadership but our actual constituent organizations of the party with the responsibility to go directly into the belly of White power win back the stolen resources hoarded within the White community and when White people to a genuine stance of solidarity with blackpower and African Liberation this exposes the opportunistic politics of charity or well wishing and demands an actual material commitment to the African revolution joining the side of African and other colonized people The consolidation of the strategy assaulted and continues to defeat White opportunism made manifest in the White left another front of White power masked as Progressive this movement that the party is building is what the White left has always struggled to look like but in fact has failed to do so in fact the creation of USM will serve to crush the way left as a parades around as the true progressives in the face of the reparations movement one of the best examples of this was the party's electoral campaigns held in saint petersburg Florida in 20 17 with a slogan unity through reparations grip to the Mass Fractured the status quote the Democratic party made every desperate attempt dumped over a million dollars into their campaign to beat the reparations candidates meanwhile the party strategy resulted in over 200 White people marching down marching downtown chanting black community control of the police and reparations math reparations is a function of the revolution through the African people solidarity community Committee and who solidarity movement the party took the concept of reparations beyond the discussions had in courtrooms Universities and made a concrete the party held world tribunal is an reparations making it a household word and and a popular Mass demand of the African nation and actually deployed a strategy to collect reparations in the real world one of the contradictions that plague the black Liberation movement was this question of resources and how to get them the party through the creation of the solidarity movement is helping to resolve this contradiction creating a supply line of reparations being sent in to bolster the parties programs of dual and contending political economic power Rather than just another solidarity Committee or group of White allies off on the sidelines giving quote unquote support to the black struggle APSC is the White constituent Organization of the party a component of a strategy to win the Liberation them African people therefore APSC members are revolutionaries who have a specific job to organize and win White people to the line and practice of reparations and material solidarity through Process of building a reparations movement the party has broken the imperialist attempt to isolate and then circle the black Liberation movement USM as the party's rear base a ring of steel around the party in the form of growing can be growing communities of White people who are passionate and fierce and their commitment to reparations and in defense of the African revolution the White ruling class can no longer depend on the sector of its population to be willing participants and the oppression of African people and instead have to go toe to toe with the African led movement of White people And enthusiastically tie their fate to bad of African working class of victorious faith at the portland event where 20 North Americans joined who the solidarity movement APSC chairwoman penny has expanding on the brilliance of the champion strategy it's a strategy that enables is the African revolution to win and it lets us ripped from the grasp of us imperialism this unity that most of us have with their own ruling class and White power come on over to the forward side of history chairwoman penny Explain how the revolutionary stance of reparations transforms the lives of White people for the first time that has were able to jump off this pedestal and join community and find our own humanity the political and historical significance of APSC and the work of their who are solidarity movement cannot be understated the victories of the days of reparations to African people tour are the pete parties victories it is an advancement of the African Liberation struggle it is another reason why we can say that we are the advanced attachment the vanguard of the African revolution material solidarity not Crush the White left defeat White opportunism we are winning girl I wanna show you some photos in case you don't have your spears there is the chairman and penny and then um this is the event in Seattle Washington and so this was an incredibly powerful tour this is the um excuse me you have to clear my throat for Justice like that I have a little bit And so I want to just first off salute the leadership of um the Department of ag of prop of the African people socialist party which publishes the burningspear newspaper when a salute director of ajit prop um uh director of the La and I he of the African people socialist party and the staff of the burningspear newspaper um then put forward a demanding editor oliphant of Cuba where another incredible um issue of the birthday spirit can't wait to get my January um burning But this article right here not only is absolutely beautiful summation of the victories of um the victory is of the party's leadership which basically is for doing the strategy we as White people this is the reason why we study the burning story newspaper why we study African internationalism why our leadership has to be coming from the African people socialist party because White people um like was was um summed up in in that article time and time And under the leadership of the White left we sell out the African Liberation movement we sold out the black revolution on the 19 60 s we um we put ourselves in our own experiences as um at the forefront and the the reason for that is because the you know the essential contradiction there is that we are White people we are the beneficiaries of colonialism and imperialism we are beneficiaries of the Relationship that europeans and North Americans have on the rest of the planet where the majority of people are living on less than 10 dollars a day and that's um you know and more than 50 percent are living on less than two dollars and 50 cents a day so with all of this suffering and and just rapid extraction of resources from the richest continent in the world Africa where we see people living in the poorest conditions and The world and you want to understand why that is the case and it's because of the imperialist stranglehold of the economic and political futures of African people and so as White people basically we are complicit in this genocide that has been occurring since we first europeans first attacked Africa in the early 14 hundreds we have been complicit and the beneficiaries of this genocidal colonialism that you know the murder of all the indigenous people and the theft of Land that created the United States um the continents you know our names America after a slave trader America of spg I will never get tired of saying that the only way to end our complicity and this relationship and our parasitic ism is to return the resources that have been stolen and hoarded in the White community so it's raising the resources and returning them to the African revolution that is what reparations is Right now available to you me and anyone else in the White community that wants to get on the correct side of the forward side of the struggle so that it was an exciting future to be to the bold and to have like laid out for you and so not in the of course it wouldn't make any sense for White people to lead this effort because how would the conners are ever be able to come to the correct conclusion about How to overturn colonialism I mean it's just it's a situation where White people will inevitably become sellouts and opportunities and that is why it's essential to be under the correct leadership and to tie our material feeds to the fate of the African revolution because the African revolution will be victorious righteous resistance is happening all around the globe and African and colonized people will be free imperialism is in crisis capitalism is in crisis the planet is going to basically and This is going to murder us all if we don't turn our economic system around which is responsible for polluting our air and our water and um and this rapid gobbling of natural Petroleum resources is creating so much pollution so much go to gas the majority of which has been released in the last 20 years so we don't see capitalism stopping down stopping or slowing down at any point it's going to explode like the Sun that look the dying star that it is and you Be on the winning side when that happens you want to be a member of her solidarity movement you want to be under the leadership of the African people socialist party which is winning the struggle advancing was struggle for African Liberation self determination all over the world so as part of this study and every study we do every week we want to advance the Bernie spear newspaper the voice of the international African revolution so we read the Bernie spear newspaper and we Reparations to African people from each of these studies every week so every week are study has a goal of 75 dollars that in resources that we want to return to the programs of the black power blueprint and so that's 75 dollars is almost you know in many people's lives almost nothing almost nothing but 75 dollars that we raise today is over 10 times the average the average assets of the of an African family within the United States and That is the average assets of an average White family in the United States and we have to understand that the reason for that disparity the reason for the inequality that we see all around us is colonialism and parasitic capitalism and that the state itself the government the uh the economy um all of it revolves around parasitic extraction of resources and the baseline that of the entire global economy the whole reason the United States was ever able to achieved prominence and Europe was ever able to wage massive imperialist wars was because they were able to steal Lives of African people and bring them across an ocean to work in sugar plantations and logging fields and clearing land and building the cities of the northeast building the cities of the Southeast building the cities of the midwest and so we owe the entire global economy as reparations to African people and this is the start today 75 dollars please put Um your pledge towards this study and appreciation of 50 years of the Bernie spear newspaper an appreciation for the leadership of the African people socialist party and appreciation for having the opportunity and honor to be a part of the strategy for blackpower and African Liberation to be a part of the African does it mean what does it mean in this in this summit summation uh At the end of this article and again I do want to apologize for not having all of my voice today I do have a little bit of a cough so material solidarity not charities what is the difference between material solidarity and charity so material solidarity means that yes I because of the leadership of the African people socialist party I understand that the economic and the political or one and there is an economic basis for the oppression of African and colonized people just as there will be an economic basis for the Liberation of all colonized people and so if you steal Lives labor and resources from from from people they are of course naturally going to going to find themselves in a position where they cannot control what would they produce um for their own lives they can't control the circumstances of their own lives and we have to understand that that there was not a mystery it's not a mystery we as White people have inherited the legacy of the slave owner just as African people have inherited the legacy of the slave and that is the You know it's just this incredible deficit of what is rightfully owed to them and so what we see um what we see under the leadership of the African people socialist party um is a way through that way forward a way to truly unite with the struggle for African Liberation and it has to be materially it has to be with dollars and cents it cannot just be with words alone because we're it's a Our White opportunism material solidarity is what is required to say that you're truly you're truly in solidarity or if you're truly going to share the faith of the struggle of the international African revolution everything else is just lip service everything else is is fake everything else is fake so anna charity politic means that you say when and where you're going to return resources and under what circumstances well nobody nobody asked people who are being Stolen from Africa how they wanted to how they wanted to um to spend the rest of their lives uh laboring under dangerous and unhealthy conditions to advance colonial domination of the world so you know the hypocrisy of just saying that like well what does what does everyone has the money gonna be spend how is how is the money can be spend and and who's going to receive the money well the money that is collected Study today goes towards the programs of the black power blueprint if you must know so the black power blueprint like we said opened the community Center and event space in North saint Louis called the or House with the a problem Hall meeting space across the Street are going to be community gardens and orchards and outdoor event venue for the one Africa one nation marketplace which will be a liberated economy flea market for the African Additionally in 20 19 the black power blueprint is embarking upon phase three opening up your hood you go community commercial kitchen so that will be the new home of her foods in pies which has been the party institution for almost for four decades and that will allow for National distribution of her foods in pies amazing delicious products it will be a bakery and cafe it will be a meeting place it'll be a venue and then addition to that it's going to be the home of the African independence workforce training program Recently released from incarceration will be able to transition back into the community with safe housing and job and entrepreneurship training provided by the African independence workforce training program so if that isn't the most positive project on the planet I'm gonna need you to tell me about something more positive because that is the victory of 20 19 that the black power blueprint will lead so I wanna say there this animosity with the White left why is the call to crush the way left and the call across the way left is is crucial and it's necessary because the criticism of the White left is in their abstinence um their refusal to be to come under the leadership of the African working class and the opposition that they post the reparations struggle um as it's been laid up in the African people socialist party there are many people in the White left they're making careers out of anti racism um anti racism Books antiracism presentations there are many under weight left that are that are um attracting much attention about uh about how they've perfected their uh academic understanding of colonialism are they perfect of the academic understanding imperialism and they can share that with you but they can't share with you the strategy for um to overturn this relationship you know there's you have to go beyond an academic understanding If you want to go beyond an academic understanding of colonialism and imperialism and get to a material understanding of what it's gonna take overturn your relationship as a parasite to the rest of the world and that is going to be reparations and that is the vision this is part of the strategy that is laid out by the African people socialist party for White people to become a part of and so that's why it's so important to join her whose solidarity movement and to support this work and to go out into your community and share with people African internationalism the burningspear newspaper and opportunities to raise reparations that African people and you can do that Threw a dance party you can do that through uh um excuse me uh uh yard sale you can do that by donating back massages if your massage therapist you could don't do that by donating tax rate tax return services if you're an accountant there are many ways that you can raise you can raise reparations to African people just by doing everyday activities and making a pledge of reparations raising raising um resources from the community letting people know that there is a positive liberated future that exist that they can be Because this is what we want we want as why people do not have to sit there and not not be able you know so they're not able to look you know African people in colonized people in the eye because we know that we have all their shit and this is exactly what's going on with the border is the indigenous people are coming from the resources that are rightfully theirs the land that exist here that belongs to the indigenous people you know of these continents Originally uh referred to by some interest groups this turtle island so turtle island needs to be returned to indigenous people and no Wall is going to prevent that because this government in its entirety is illegitimate that will be illegitimate and these borders are illegitimate colonial borders so I do wanna say we have some more pleasure oh my God hopefully we can raise all the resources before my voice goes away I heard having From asheville North Carolina for pledging another 10 dollars in stolen resources who comrade oh okay so we have now 30 dollars towards our goal it looks like um and hearst of her solidarity movement St petersburg our regional uh coordinator for the Southeast region of her solidarity movement and hershey is pledging uh 10 dollars and stolen resources as well so that gets us to 40 dollars of our 75 dollar goal we have 35 dollars left and I want to go through our awesome event Announcements because every single month uhurusolidarity convention we have a National convention coming up and we have oh yeah every um there's no been meeting in asheville North Carolina for fires storm Coffee 6 PM to 8 PM that as led by evan garner in asheville North Carolina thanks for posting that either so yeah we have opportunities up and down the eastern seaboard and the Southeast to join her solidarity movement we have opportunities in the midwest we have meetings and portland we have meetings in Seattle we have um we have organizing in oakland oakland California right now and we have volunteer events there are four volunteer events right now and I'm sure there will be a handful more coming up for ml k day National day of service so I want to encourage everybody to get involved and encourage somebody to pledge the last 25 dollars of the study goals And I wanna salute everyone who has participated and pledge to the study so far this is um a really exciting time to be a part of the uhurusolidarity movement cuz like I said not only what is the days of reparations African people tour a smashing victory but this year who are solidarity movement has raised 100000 dollars to the African people socialist party in White reparations and that is incredible statement of the times that we're living in because it's not reparations at some point not reparations in the future not Not when White people will get around to it or you know if the government makes it makes it a law reparations are happening right now because White people are understanding they're waking up to the reality that our self interest is with the rest of the planet we have to unite with the rest of the planet and ending colonialism and parasitic capitalism and that is something that is clear to even White power um entities like the UN even like the top economists of our time who um certainly have been tracking the global economy and how parasitic ism Fatten the clovers of Europe of the holy roman Catholic church of North America of you know South American um colonial uh vest digital regimes that you know of of White power and wealth concentration in Brazil and Argentina and other countries um other countries in South America in Mexico we see um parasitic capitalism on its way out all over the world but we Incredible inequality all over this region and this is why we have to stand on the side of colonized people against colonialism and reparations is the way to do it so 25 dollars left on the study I wanted um I wanna pledge 10 dollars on the study of stolen harder resources and that will get us up to 60 dollars for today's study 15 dollars remaining and I wanna Everybody again who is able to contribute to the study kristin johan and mara Dan booties All right I have to go a little bit early cuz I'm definitely losing my voice but be a part of this work I'm looking at nine viewers left on the study right now and I should be 900 viewers watching this there's a be 900 people that you know cuz I know that we all know people that want to be a part of this work that want to be on the right side of history when it comes to the colonial question wanna say I am committing class suicide I am digesting my
