Looking forward to the DSC convention starting just after New Years. If you're in the Dallas area come check it out. Great show!

Huge news today out of Botswana. Johan Calitz Okavango Delta concession, NG32 has been extended for another year with the same quota as 2012. We thought it was all over, but it looks like we've got another chance to share the beauty of Botswana...Under Wild Skies

Under Wild Skies is with Johan Calitz in Botswana.

Tony Makris and Johan Calitz visited the final resting place of a superb
Bushman tracker and friend. He will be missed.

A beautiful rack of Blaser rifles. Some of the beauties you can find at Marco Polo Outfitter's online, or their retail store in Chesterfield, MO.

Wow. What a great safari. Battled all the way but pulled out some great trophies including a 91lb Tusker in the Mababe Depression. A big thanks to all the folks at Johan Calitz Safaris for yet another great season...Under Wild Skies.

Battled in the Niassa but came out with some beautiful trophies. We're currently resting up at Victoria Falls while our tetse bites heal before heading off for Botswana and another month in the bush.

Not to rub it in for our FB fans sweltering back in the States, but we are getting snowed on here in Johannesburg! Mozambique will be warm but it's jackets and sweaters for now!

We made it! The Under Wild Skies crew still has a long way to get to Mozambique, but we're in Johannesburg eating crayfish and enjoying Castle lager. Hard to beat that!

We are on the Tarmac about to embark for 7 weeks of safari in Mozambique and Botswana. Wish us luck and be sure to tune in to NBC Sports after the Olympics for the 2012 season!
