Cows’ milk is ideal for humans, right? WRONG! It's meant to triple a calf's weight within a year to an adult weight of a whopping 300- 400kg. Humans, on the other hand, take about 18 years to reach adult weight.
The composition of milk varies widely from animal to animal, providing the perfect first food for the young of that species. A seal’s milk is extraordinarily fatty (50 per cent fat) so that seal pups can grow very quickly, depositing a thick layer of blubber that will... protect them from the cold and sustain them as they learn to hunt for themselves. Just as we are different from seals, we are not exactly the same as cows either!
Cow’s milk, contain higher levels of saturated fats, which contribute to rapid body building. Cow’s milk has twenty times more casein, which puts a huge pressure on human digestion as it coagulates and forms dense curds that are adapted for the four tiered stomach digestive apparatus of a cow.
These are some very logical, factual and scientific reasons why a cow has a brain weight three times as small as ours and a body weight seven times as heavy. The bottom line is, cow’s milk is meant for calves to grow and not humans.
While, you can gain significantly good amount of nutrients by drinking plant milks, why do you want to pay to the industry which makes babies through artificial insemination & then takes away those babies from their mothers & lets the mothers suffer for their lifetime to end up being on someone's plate?
In an interview with Vogue - Billie Eilish answered a question on why she is vegan with this statement of hers.
Because of our choices of food, we get a total closer to 3 billion animals killed daily. That comes out to 72 billion land animals and over 1.2 trillion aquatic animals killed for food around the world every year.
Many people are starting to understand suffering along with suffering and choosing to go vegan, what are you waiting for?
