It's been a great partnership on this project! Like most folks, we love data-driven decisions. But the magic really happens when your decisions are based on experience. Planning techniques that provide stakeholder experiences result in better context, understanding, empathy, and most importantly decisions.
We recently worked with UrbanTrans North America to perform bicycle audits around major transit stations within the Atlanta region. This involved primary data c...ollection using 360-degree cameras that allowed stakeholders to visually experience the stations and view current bicycle parking conditions. The team documented best practices and recommendations for the funding, operations, and marketing of long-term secure bike parking at transit stops.
