The U.S. band Huntertones engaged 30 trafficking survivors and 200 m...usic students during two hands-on masterclasses at the University of Benin. The young Nigerian musicians learned some new skills from the New York City-based performers. The Huntertones are here as part of the American Music Abroad program and they will round-up their tour in Nigeria with a performance today at 4:00pm at the Benin Museum Field, Ring Road, Benin City. Wednesday, the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Alumni Association held... their annual Martin Luther King Day Lecture at Mountain Top University in Ogun State. Speaking at the event, Public Affairs Officer Russell Brooks expressed his appreciation to the U.S. exchange alumni, Vice-Chancellor, faculty and students, then he encouraged the youth to draw lessons from Dr. Kings nonviolent campaign to create a more just and equitable society in America.
