Important Update from Chairman Rob Anderson

Yesterday's meeting with Dave Bateman and the chair of the Legal Defense Committee went very well. Dave has completed his contract which is currently under review by his legal team. Dave told me he will send it to me shortly. This is a momentous occasion. Again thank you Dave Bateman and the Legal Defense Committee for the work you have put into this.

In our meeting, we also discussed the authority needed to sign the contract, whi...ch rests in the chair alone. We also addressed the point that, though the SCC has no authority in our governing documents to ratify the contract, I feel the SCC may show their support for the contract at the January 27th meeting through a vote of affirmation.

Today is Veteran’s Day. As an Air Force Veteran, it was my privilege to fly the greatest air superiority fighter of its time, the F-15 Eagle. As Chairman of the Utah Republican Party, it is an honor for me to acknowledge those who sacrificed their lives to preserve the freedoms we too often take for granted. The third verse of The U.S. Air Force anthem is a tribute to those who have fallen:

“Here’s a toast to the host
Of those who love the vastness of the sky.
To a friend... we send a message of his brother men who fly.
We drink to those who gave their all of old
Then down we roar to score the rainbow’s pot of gold.
