Computers, televisions, and other electronic equipment (e-waste) are one of the fastest-growing portions of Rhode Island's solid waste stream. As new electronic equipment becomes available, a greater number of these devices, especially computers and TVs, find their way from households and businesses into basements and eventually into the waste stream. Taken together, these seemingly small sources of pollution scattered across the state, add up to big environmental problems. Find resources for properly disposing of your household e-waste at http://www.rirrc.org/recycling-composting-…/electronic-waste and learn more about e-waste in RI at www.dem.ri.gov/ewaste
